Despicable
This was not good - I think the highlight was going out for a meal! - I wasn't told before hand that the pub and restaurant was closed - Also an old pair of stockings in the room - See pic - Not sure how you can charge me for this.

Bottomless brunch - group of us to celebrate ALevel results day (Shrewsbury college students). One word to describe the service received from Mark today (14/08/2025) - outstanding. Thank you Mark, your service was exceptional and you were so welcoming and accommodating. We had an amazing time and will recommend the Alb to anyone based on today. I’m sure we will be back!!!!! This pub is always our meeting place when going out with friends. Yesterday we spent most of the afternoon there, staff are great, drinks are great, fantastic venue. JJ has really got this place buzzing.

Absolutely amazing value. Big bright rooms nicely furnished so much space and so central absolutely brilliant. Massive shout out to all the staff who work there too who were really lovely and welcome. Brilliant pub and brilliant accom - can’t recommend enough!

We visited on Saturday afternoon for cocktails in the sun. The cocktails and atmosphere here was really lovely and the staff were brilliant especially the female door lady sorry didn't get her name. The door lady was amazing so friendly and attentive, she removed a male from our table before we even asked her too as she could see we were not comfortable and checked to make sure we were all okay. We saw her later looking after a lady who was very upset after an argument that happened in the garden. Amazing level of care that made us feel really safe which is rare to find in town. Highly recommended We will definitely be back Thank you

Friendly & warm welcome the staff were fab. Lovely room spotlessly clean & comfy beds. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Great location for exploring Shrewsbury will definitely return.

Great cocktails ( learn how to do a woowoo) and atmosphere, however The toilets are a shambles....tiles missing, radiator hanging off the wall, bins not emptied....shame used to be a nice place, would think twice about eating here Garden no longer open

For the cost this isn't good enough. Small room not the cleanest and broken radiator cover. Shower controls very stiff. No rubbish collected from the room during the two night stay. Breakfast just coffee, juice and a cooked option.
