Although Jessica with reservations was amazing, I was not made aware of the MAJOR Construction/renovations that this hotel was going through. I did my check in on-line with 3:00 arrival time. When I arrived at 3:15, there were masked construction workers crawling around on scaffolding at windows and all over the grounds making it very difficult to get around the parking lot. My room wasn’t ready and I had to wait 40 minutes in the lobby. Not good. When I finally was able to go to my room the side entrance was blocked with construction debris and I had to maneuver around in and out. I was NOT comfortable with these workers just outside my window. The room itself had much to be desired, very out dated and needs more attention, especially the bathroom. I left for dinner and when I got back the workers parked their large equipment right in front of my access door and I had to walk around it to enter. For the money I spend on this it was not enjoyable or worth it. I would request compensation/refund/reimbursement but I probably won’t get it. The photo I attached is only one of the many I could and should have taken.

I’d love to write a review of the room but it’s been 2 hours after the check in time and I’m still waiting to get into it. Reserved two connecting rooms and showed up after the check in time was told the rooms were not ready. Asked for an estimate of when they would be, couldn’t say. Apparently the rooms were clean but they needed linens and here we sit, 2 hours of sitting the lobby waiting for sheets to actually get into the room

Google maps struggled with directions but eventually got there! Parking is across the road but reasonably priced. Room was comfy and clean but the water in the bathroom smelled of algae. Not sure if it was the drain or the tap but didn’t fancy using it to clean teeth with. Also the door looked like it had previously been jemmied which was off putting!
