We heard that the hot springs were good, so we stayed here as a couple for 22,000 yen per person on the 13th of Obon. Unexpectedly, both the exterior and the interior of the building were very beautiful. The rooms were very spacious, at 12.5 tatami mats, and it was a small inn with about 10 rooms, so we were able to spend a quiet time. For dinner, we added about 2,000 yen to the regular course to get the recommended special course, which was a 9-item kaiseki course. There was no fried food, but we were very satisfied with the horse sashimi, grilled whole trout, and beef teppanyaki. The baths, both the indoor and outdoor baths, were free-flowing from the source and were relaxing and felt good on the skin, but the outdoor bath was a little narrow, about 5 adults could fit in it. The futon was a little short for my husband, who is 170 cm tall, and it was difficult to sleep. I was able to sleep just right in terms of firmness and length, so preferences may vary. The breakfast was served in a basket like a restaurant inn, and was delicious to look at. I think this is a hidden gem of an inn that is recommended for hot spring lovers who want to relax in the mountains. I will repeat it again!!
