A really enjoyable two night stay. Very helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms, great breakfast, free parking, great location for the HMS Ganges museum (it is in the same building), central Ipswich was a 30 minute drive. All round great value for money.

Lovely welcome, parking not an issue, room was lovely and clean and had everything you could want for a night's stay. Very cool breeze coming from the river which was lovely. The only minor criticism is that the green fire exit light lit up the room at night. An eye mask would alleviate this. Would definitely go back.

Always a good spot for a tea/coffee or something from the bar. Food is consistent with a fairly decent range. It’s not restaurant quality but it’s always hot and well cooked without breaking the bank. Free parking with views of Harwich and Felixstowe as well as Shotley Marina make it a good destination pretty much all year round. Good walks in pretty much every direction with a small museum. You can even sit in your car and have something to look at,

Very lovely hotel. Rooms very clean and the view is amazing. Very quiet at night and a lovely balcony with fab views - amazing sunrise!! Nice comfy bed and tea/coffe/biscuits and bottles of water provided. Nothing critical to say about the stay and would definitely stay again.

Lovely gem of a place, had an Estuary view, very clean ,staff all very helpful and pleasant, didn’t have to jump up and rush down for breakfast ( didn’t start until 10am )come away totally relaxed, will definitely go back

Exceeded all expectations, we stayed in Room 5, sea view and balcony..everything was pristine, great facilities, great welcome, I can't rate this place highly enough. Nice and quiet after 9, no noise at all, even from the port which is brilliant to sit and watch at night. The whole experience was just perfect.

Situated in a working marina. Stayed in room 1 with great views over Felixstowe and harwich. Great welcome. Best Adnams beer I’ve ever had. Best fish and chips ever. Had a walk along towards Shotley and saw a lot of the development of the old HMS Ganges.

Fantastic stay!! Great views from the balcony. Lovely food and friendly staff in the bar downstairs. Will stay again 😎😎 room only but able to get breakfast in the bar when they open. Felixstowe port and harwich both accessible by foot ferry and a great day out.
