First of all, I booked through Trip.com and this motel in Shorter Ala. had a great picture of a nice hotel with a pool. We were just laying over for one night to rest up and relax by the pool. When I checked in I wasn’t even told the pool was closed.We drove around and finally found our room,which we didn’t even go in because it was very old looking on the outside and saw the Poole was closed so I called the desk and asked and he said that it had been closed s”since Covid outbreak “. Huh? 2 year ago. Crazy!!! I went back and told them they could have their keys back because we weren’t staying there and that they needed to put it on the website that the pool was closed! only thing he said was huh,while looking at me real crazy.😫

Sofia was at front desk,she was very friendly and nice.customer service was very amazing..... wonderful stay and nice comfortable clean stay.breakfast nice and simple.

The sheets had some light stains, but were clearly clean. I could have requested new ones, and I’m sure they would have given them as they were very helpful otherwise. The AC was strong and cooled the room quickly, and the room and bathroom were both very clean. Overall a great experience for what it was, a quick place to rest for the night with no frills. The concierge upgraded our room to no smoking for a small fee and was very quick to get us settled in.

Service was great and people were nice. Close to food what else can you ask for. The TV let you hook up gaming systems to them in addition to satellite service as well.

My stay at the Days inn at the Shorter Alabama location was perfect. Rooms were very nice. Like brand new. The beds were comfortable and I slept like a baby. I highly recommend this location
