Hyatt House Richmond /Short Pump

A clean and friendly hotel conveniently located in a shopping plaza

I have stayed here before and the hotel was always great. But this time it was quite awful. I took several pictures to document. It started off wrong when I entered the room and someone else’s name was on the welcome message. The name in the picture is not me lol. There were dead bugs on the lamps in the room, mold and rust in the bathroom, smelly stains on the couch that gave the room a horrible odor, neither tv worked and was frozen the entire time, and the courtyard was filled with a partying baseball team until 9:30 even though it was suppose to close at 8 so our 4 year old was awake until almost 10:30pm. The TVs both froze every 2-3 seconds and was pixeled the entire time so it couldn’t be watched. The shower didn’t have enough water pressure to actually shower, and the gym was disgusting with garbage on the floor, wet towels every where and the tv didn’t work here either . Hotel is in a good location but needs new management. Karolina and Zarina are the 2 managers and are very rude. Hooke everything through corporate as it’s cheaper and more helpful. If you need to book something on the phone ask For Ivy as she is the only One who’s helpful.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We stay here at least 3 to 4 times a year . We recommend getting a suite , it provides the more room and comfort.

This is a great hotel located steps away from mall shopping and plenty of dining options. The staff are friendly and helpful and the beds sleep very well.
