Finally arrived at Chibi Maruko's hometown. I chose to stay in Shimizu. The hotel is a two-minute walk from Shimizu Station. You can see Mount Fuji on one side of the hotel. The hotel guests are basically Japanese locals. Most of them are here for the weekend. Shimizu Port is just opposite the station. I walked around Shimizu for two days. The city is so quiet. If you go to Shizuoka, you can get there in ten minutes by train. It's very convenient.

It is close to Shimizu Station and not far from Shimizu Fish Market. It is convenient to take the free shuttle bus to the Chibi Maruko-chan Museum and the water bus to Miho Matsumoto.
