The weather was bad and we didn't see any shadow of Mount Fuji. It was April and the wind on the mountain was still very strong and cold, so we couldn't stay outdoors. Some restaurants were not in the same building as the main building, so we had to walk outdoors to eat, which was very painful in bad weather. The shuttle bus was supposed to stop at Higashi-Shizuoka and Shizuoka. Before getting on the bus, we told the driver in English that we were going to Higashi-Shizuoka Station, but it still skipped this station and went directly to Shizuoka.

Very nice view and landscape even though the hotel room is looking a little bit old design. The breakfast was very nice and many varieties at buffet line.

Excellent stay, regretted not getting a room with mt fuji view. You can see the entire fuji san with city view in foreground on clear day, very impressive. Go early for breakfast if you want to get the best seats just by the glass. Room is clean and well appointed. Staff are helpful at check in. The lawn is amazing with a view to die for. It was chilly and super windy when we went on 16 March.

The hotel is located on a higher ground, about 40 minutes by free shuttle bus from Shizuoka Station. The hotel lobby has a view of Mount Fuji, which complements Suruga Bay and is worth a visit. I booked a room with a view of Mount Fuji. The room is spacious and has an independent unobstructed balcony, which is very suitable for a quiet afternoon. I booked a teppanyaki for dinner. The chef is very talkative and good at taking photos. I chose a Japanese breakfast for breakfast the next day. There were not many people and it was very comfortable.
