房間就是農家樂擺設，但乾淨整潔，連衞生間都看不到污漬，該有的都有，而且老闆大娘很心細，事無鉅細地關心讓人冇種家的感覺。

客棧位於去石台牯牛降景區的馬路邊，車可以停在客棧門口，或對面小公園的免費停位，訂的三床房位於2樓背街臨山，面積較大，3個小床，有獨立衞生間，不銹鋼燒水壺，比較安靜；老闆家1樓是小飯店，可以點餐當地食材比較新鮮，也有早餐，無論是出行還是住宿都是比較方便的，老闆一家人比較熱情，5分。

我們上海八位自駕遊老者慕名而來，見到了曾經是上海知青的老闆娘彼此很親切，老闆娘熱情大方，拿出鍋巴等招待，讓兒子駕車陪我們去縣城挑選河鮮，讓老伴去自家菜地割韭菜，摘蠶豆，一頓美味可口的晚餐給我們留下深刻的影響。飯店位置極佳，馬路對面即是景觀公園。設施齊全，房間整潔乾淨，飲用水質極佳。上海知青飯店是我們以後再遊岳西的住宿首選。

客棧在去牯牛降馬路邊，門口可停車，對面小公園有免費停車位，雙床房邊有一個公共衞浴，使用還是方便的，店家有飯店，可以炒菜，有早點供需，總之還是方便的，好評。
