Vakil Hotel Shiraz

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The room and the hotel is clean in general. However, staff was not always very friendly. Overpriced during norooz hollydays. Breakfast is nothing special. I would actually rather eat breakfast somewhere else. No Coffe, te or water boiler at the room, so you must buy from the hotel after spending 30 min explaning what an amerecano is. What irrtated me the most is that there is no coffee of water with the breakfast. You must BUY the water for your paied breakfast. And you have to wait til 10 am for buying coffe. Internet is limited to 1 Gb. Then you must buy of you want more. In general, I think that greediness is the most annoying thing about this hotel.

I am writing on behalf of a tourist I was guiding in Shiraz, who stayed in this hotel. She had a very unpleasant experience with a member of staff from this hotel, who refused to leave her room after checking if the key was working. After shouting and then complaining to the reception, they refused to help her. A person (a friend of a friend) eventually came to solve it and called the police (the hotel was refusing to contact them). The hotel did nothing, saying eventually the member of staff in question was a drug addict. My tourist changed hotel that same night. Shiraz has good and professional hotels. This one is clearly not. Avoid at all costs.
