This hotel suited our purposes aside from the check in which was ruined by derogatory comments about reserving through "cheap" websites, this hotel has a nice restaurant and a wonderful location.

Sunday lunch today . Ordered drinks, not arrived by the time our food was served 15 minutes later. After a reminder, 3 of the 4 were delivered. Further delay before final drink came. Sunday roast average and not hot enough, some hot gravy in a jug would have helped. Waitress forgot to order our dessert so we cancelled it and just had coffee, which also took at least 15 minutes to arrive. The very nice waitress and other staff appeared rushed off their feet, maybe need to employ more ?

Nice location . Reception staff friendly. The room we had was no. 17 it was dark a bit tired looking.. ..needs updating. Communal terrace. Noisy traffic from busy road.. Dinner was expensive and nothing out of this world .just ok... breakfast staff unfriendly ... nice touch of free chocolate biscuits from chef in room daily. But overall experience i think I was expecting more...

The Frogmill Hotel hosted my daughters wedding, and I have to say it was an excellent location. The wedding breakfast was fantastic, as was the breakfasts. The vast majority of staff were attentive and very helpful, even in extreme conditions (35 degrees +). The room was great, and I know its unusual for this country to have such temperatures, but at these prices I don't think it's much to ask for rooms to have a fridge an fans. The only downsides was when 1 elderly guest collapsed with heat stroke and another missed a step and fell over, injuring his hand. No staff/management enquired if everything was ok. In fact, a guest had to fetch a First Aid kit from their car to treat the casualties. Overall, lovely location. Great food, but in my opinion just needs some tweaks to justify the cost.

Stayed here for two nights for a wedding. The moment I walked into my room (deluxe room) I was immediately wowed. The room was incredibly spacious, loved the decor, the bed was huge and comfortable, and the bathroom, double wow. One of the nicest bathrooms I've ever had in a hotel. However, I was staying whilst it was over 30 degrees outside. No air con nor fans in the room, no fridge, and we had some difficulty getting the TV to work. The duvet on the bed was far too thick to sleep with, especially with the heatwave outside so unfortunately I struggled to sleep. For our first night we tried the barbecue the hotel had going, and were left very disappointed. The fries were stone cold, the chicken tasted funny, and the corn on the cob was rock solid. £20 each for the barbecue is far too expensive personally, especially since it wasn't a buffet, and was not worth the money at all. The food for breakfast though was delicious, everything cooked well, no complaints at all. The staff. Some were decent and attentive, one I came across wasn't. Went to the main bar to order a cocktail, the young lady behind the bar asked if I was part of the wedding and then directed me to another bar to order a drink. Wedding bar wasn't serving cocktails so went back to the main bar, the girl then said "I don't know if anyone's told you, but if you're part of the wedding you get your own bar upstairs", I explained that they weren't serving cocktails, and she rolled her eyes and started making it for me. As a guest at the hotel, I believe I have the right to go to any bar in the hotel, right? I was the only one in that bar with a friend, so there was no reason why I couldn't be served. Overall the stay was decent, the location is beautiful and quiet, slightly overpriced but is of course expected in the Cotswolds.

Spent fours days there but should have planned stay for longer. The food was really fantastic. Pick your room with own door for a better stay. Would I return ? Absolutely.
