We enjoyed our stay at the Van Buren hotel. The room was very spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had some variety and tasty. Good location. Only downside was no one told us we did not have any housekeeping if only staying 2 nights. So we had to hunt down housekeeping for fresh towels, cups, and coffee packets. Then housekeeping left an envelope “if we wanted to leave a tip.”

This place was awesome!! Very clean, staff was very friendly. Clean comfy rooms. Good size and clean bathroom! Pool/breakfast. Awesome Amish Country Inn

Overall would have been an ok trip . Room had a stale smell. But was clean so I didn’t freak out to much , intill after check out when we were charged an additional $250 for smoking and we don’t smoke ?? I am pregnant so just the smell a cigarette has me very sick. Also our group had 4 small children . We did notice the hallway smelled like someone had been smoking just assumed it was another patron who went outside and one the way back to their room leaving the scent ? Every time I call about this charge and to see which of the 3 rooms were noted on the incident report / and ask for proof or reasoning, I am told to call back the next day to speak to the manager and no one can give me answers or an explanation. Next time , we will spend the extra money and stay at the Blue Gate or Farmstead Inn

This is a very well kept Hotel convenient to all the towns and shops. Room was comfortable and I was able to open the windows for fresh air. Breakfast was hot and fresh.

We have stayed at the Van Buren on average of 2 to 3 times a year for the past 9 years. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else.

The hotel is nice and clean. Beds are comfortable. For whatever reason, the breakfast wasn’t well staffed during this stay and items were not replenished when empty.

This was a great hotel to stay at. Friendly staff; nice clean room; delicious hot breakfast, everyday. It's only minutes away from other restaurants and attractions. We will be staying there again, whenever we're back in that area.

Please be aware that this hotel charges you a fee to see if your charge card is valid. Never heard of this policy, Have stayed here thru out the years, never have been charged this before. Heads up for others booking there stay. Will not be staying here again. Cathy
