This Best Western is under renovation and they are doing a great job! Pool looked inviting, but closed by the time we arrived, wish it was open longer. Breakfast was good, they have a new "touchless pancake machine" and it's awesome. You can make up 12 pancakes at one time. They had flavored milks, that made my morning! Bed was comfortable and pillows were good. Needed another blanket. Easy on and off the highway. Plenty of restaurants within a mile. Plenty of gas stations within a mile. Staff was friendly and helpful. They are in the Green Hotel magazine that you find at the Rest Areas. They are worth checking out!

First of all it’s under construction on the first floor, the only way to the floor that was somewhat habitable was blocked and the second floor hallway was disgustingly filthy not fit for humans, the bathroom had no shower curtain stay away from this huge ripoff

This place isn’t fit for Rats
Ok for starters, it was under construction on the whole first floor, and no working elevator so we parked as close as possible to the outside door which had a pallet of construction supplies half blocking the entrance, then we walked into a full blown construction area with debris everywhere and then we had to move construction tote that was blocking the stairs the stairs were extremely dirty with trash from the construction site on them finally we got to the second floor and the stairway door was completely missing. So the beginning of the hallway there was more construction junk cluttering the area finally get to the room and there was a dirty mess at our room door , there was dirt and clutter all down the hallway, so we got inside the room and at first it seemed ok except the bathroom which had no shower curtain, and there was construction dust covering a good portion of many of the room and in the evening I had a hard time dealing with all the dust in the air

The pillows are tiny the beds are cheap and uncomfortable. The sheets were dirty and the tub had a dirt ring around it when I arrived. This is a small town area with not much to do at all. Not many food choices and everything is closed around 10pm.

Our stay at Best Western, Shippensburg made me reconsider using these hotels more in the future. The decor of the room was a relief from other hotel franchises. This includes the paintings on the wall. Another pleasant find in this particular hotel was the refillable easy access shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles hanging on the wall in the shower. Finally, I also appreciated that you can control the heat and cool temperatures in the room.

I think there should’ve been more towels or pillows and more information about the hotel. Should’ve been a small table in the room to eat at did not see any breakfast. Some small lounge chair on the balcony more blankets on the bed.
