3 day-2night stay at this unassuming motel with 7 biker friends while touring the area. The manager, Kayla, was hands-on, attentive and a great communicator from the time reservations were made till we departed. This was a refreshing business model! All of us were happy with the cleanliness of the rooms and would gladly stay again. We took full advantage of the fire pit at night which is set far enough away from the motel to not bother the other guests. Hot breakfasts and beverages are available in the mornings if you let Kayla know the afternoon prior. Was not warm enough to swim in the pond Memorial Day Weekend, maybe next time? Colton Point Motel has more plans to offer even more amenities and I personally can’t wait to try them.

I loved this place. Room 10 was beautiful. There is a fire pit and lake right outside. The breakfast was very good and convenient. The lady who takes care of the place was extremely welcoming and helpful! My only complaint was that I could not figure out how to get the tv working as a tv.

The place is next to highway. So it’s a little noisy. Also there was no hot water. So we didn’t shower. Otherwise it’s ok.

Very comfortable...good shower. I suppose because it was off season, so it was disappointing to not have a coffee in the morning.

Overall okay. Would not stay there again in winter. There was no inside mat to wipe your feet on inside after a snowfall. The tv is a useless smart tv but not much to watch unless you have subscriptions. Need more bedside plugs for charging. Good coffee. The heater was noisy. Probably better in the summer.

There were no network channels on the TV, so I had to watch College football playoff games on my phone. The heating system was provided by a through the wall Heat Pump unit that cycled on and off all night and it was rather noisy. It took about five minutes to get hot water out of the shower, but after that, it was fine.

They seem to have a perfectly good breakfast area, but don’t seem to ever use it. A simple breakfast bar with coffee, juice, pastries, fruit, toast, yogurt etc. would be better than nothing at all.
The pond out back is really nice though.
