It's okay to have such a big room without a bathroom. You have a large bath, but why not get a toilet? Although the room is not far from the public toilet, it is very inconvenient to lock the door with a key every time. There is not much difference in price between Japanese-style rooms and Western-style rooms, but the tatami in the room has many stains and is not very clean. There wasn't even a mirror in the room, so girls couldn't put on makeup. The only advantage is that it's not far from the station. It is more convenient to go to Narai at the station.

Was the bathroom too small?

I spent two nights with my wife sightseeing in the Okaya, Shiojiri, Narai, Kiso-Hirakawa, and Tategawa areas. We used two double rooms [21m2 bed width 150cm]. Couples who did not use twin rooms stayed in two single or double rooms. This is because we believe that it is more livable. The bathroom is spacious, including the size of the bathtub (approximately 60cm x 120cm), however, the shower head and shower toilet are rather old-style. There is a 20 cm step at the entrance to the bath room, so it is suitable for elderly people. I think you should be careful. It's about a 5-minute walk from JR Shiojiri Station, and it's also a bus stop (bus stop No. 6) for the AI-based on-demand bus "Noruto Shiojiri" (bus stop No. 6). -9 )] for 200 yen one way. The hotel is located about a 5-minute walk east from JR Shiojiri Station. The front desk was very accommodating regarding discounts such as the Shinshu discount. The room felt like a slightly larger business hotel. The large public bath was not that large, but we had it all to ourselves so we were able to relax. The breakfast was Japanese food, similar to a bento box.

I stayed here the night before my child moved out. The hotel also has a cheap rental car service, which was a deciding factor. The hotel also has a banquet hall that could be used for weddings, and the lobby is quite spacious. It is close to the station, but I got lost a little when I arrived after 10pm. The wallpaper in the guest room was peeling and looked a little old, but it was well cleaned. After arriving, there was a large public bath, which I enjoyed. The breakfast was a delicious Japanese set menu. I felt that 13,900 yen for a twin room with breakfast was a little expensive.
