Hotels near Shinsaibashi, Osaka

The apartment is just 1-2 min walk away from Family Mart. Lawson is just slightly further away. Very convenient! They also provide hotel slippers, towels, chopsticks, utensils, bowls! It’s perfect. We weren’t affected by the noise as our room was facing another direction. Request for a higher floor and the request was met! 🙏🏻✨ Overall a great stay!

I definitely recommend this room! 💯/10 Everything is very convenient and comfortable, but keep in mind that this is NOT a REGULAR HOTEL!! And you will check into the room yourself (self check in), so if you are not in a hurry or do not want to deal with this - find a hotel, but if this is familiar to you / you have used this method of check-in and check-out - you can safely book! We were there a couple of days ago (06/12/2025-06/19/2025). But it is most suitable for those who know how and want to cook (for example, I do not really like Japanese food and chose food to my taste and prepared it in the room for myself). If you like and often go to restaurants, I do not see much point in taking this room, except for all the other nice features of this room. Firstly - the room is great, very convenient (there is a place for suitcases and where to open them). Secondly - the kitchen!! It is very comfortable and everything you need is already provided (basic utensils (forks, spoons, chopsticks) and plates, knife, etc.). Thirdly - the bathroom!! it is huge!! there is also a washing machine (which is very convenient if you are here for a few days), a shower and a large deep bathtub, also the rooms are different and large, very convenient when you are not alone and there is space to turn around. Fourthly - there is a microwave, a large refrigerator and a freezer!!! it is super! But one of the best things is the TV!!! only upon arrival in Tokyo did I understand what a modern TV is here, you can connect your Netflix and YouTube (which is very convenient!), and not watch Japanese commercials and their shows that you will not understand (but if you want you can always watch it). Also the view is quite nice, we got the second floor so we couldn't see much, but we stayed in the hotel mainly for sleeping so it's not a big deal!! 💓

Great location, just a few minutes away from Tsutenkaku and Ebisucho station! Check-in and check-out was incredibly fuss free, and they send instructions on how to check-in a few days before your trip & on the day of your arrival. The room entrance has a little nook for your luggage and day bag(s), as well as a big umbrella if you need it, and the room is big enough to open my suitcase completely and still have room to walk! Everything was working and refilling amenities was very convenient so I never had to interact with customer service. Cannot recommend this place enough, will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again! Housekeeping does NOT clean up the room during your stay. Tidy your room and dispose of your trash yourselves! The garbage disposal room is in a room on the right after you exit from the main entrance. One thing to note for solo travellers: the building is in a relatively quiet area. Foot traffic in the area is sparse throughout the day. But the staff working in the shops along the way are friendly and willing to walk with you if you need the help!

I stayed for 3 nights and it was quite satisfying. The room was in good condition and the location was excellent. Subway stations, shops, convenience store were very close to the hotel. The washing machine in the room was convenient as well. But wifi connection was very bad. The staff tried to solve the problem but I couldn't use wifi almost every night. It needs to be improved because it is a pretty big problem. If the wifi problem is solved, I would like to stay here again next time.

It was very nice. The location is perfect-in a small quiet street, however all entertainments, restaurants, bars, supermarket, large trade centers, Dotonbory street, Kuromon market are very close to the hotel. The subway Nipponbashi station is 5 minutes (it’s very convenient to get to Nara from it or to the airport Kobe). To the airport Kansai you can get directly from Namba station, that is just 15 minutes walking. The room is not large, but everything equipment and washing things there are in it. Beds are very good and comfortable. Thank you!

overall the stay was really nice and tge service was not bad (email replies to service contact). there was no one at the counter since it was self check in and self check out but its nice for introverts. there were good security measures to make sure no unwanted guests went in so it is safe. though it is near the red light district so female solo travellers or travellers with young kids might want to take caution. the room and amenities were normal and there was a washing machine provided. you'll need to hand the clothes on the balcony as no dryer is provided but given the weather, it drys pretty fast. garbage disposal was pretty easy as well since there was a big grey container at the gate where you can through it at.

really convenient location within walking distance to public transport and dotonbori. there's also famima, lawson and 7eleven all right outside. rooms were also larger than usual and very clean. even though there's no front desk, check in and check out processes were very simple. would definitely stay here again if i'm back in Osaka.

The room itself is nice and simple, the building isn't great but easily forgivable; however the issue is with the cleanliness, the toilet room stinks of ammonia, like REALLY bad, the bedroom kind of smells like the tatami is going bad but this isn't uncommon, and the shower room is disgusting, you feel dirtier when you come out, the whole thing is completely yellow and mould covered.

Cleanliness was good and the bathroom was really spacious for Japanese hotels standard. Check-in and check-out processes were easy and quick. It was really close to shinsaibasi shopping street with a few convenieve stores nearby. It is about 6 minutes walk to the Shinsaibasi metro station and about 15 minutes walk to dotonbori which might be a bit far if you are travelling with kids or the elderly.

We stayed in this retreat for 4 nights. We really liked everything! Good location - there are many metro stations nearby, very convenient to get to any point in Osaka. Also a grocery store is two steps away. The two rooms are very far from each other, children and we did not interfere with each other. Good layout. Everything works, good steamer. The only two minuses are a very difficult registration procedure upon arrival, once we could not enter the hotel - the buttons at the entrance to the building jammed. And there are not enough hooks in the bathroom. But these are all minor things, thank you very much for a good stay!
