There was an old bed that wasn't being used.
It was disappointing that even though it was an old building, it hadn't been properly cleaned and there was a lot of dust.

It was great for a night's stay. There was a large public bath, which was great. The breakfast buffet was delicious.

The clock attached to the bed was off by about 10 hours (and couldn't be adjusted), and since it was the only clock in the room that caught my eye, it was confusing even though I knew the time was off. I thought it would be nice to have a radio alarm clock with a thermometer and hygrometer (it doesn't have to be a brand name).
Other than that, the front desk staff were very polite, and the bathroom was larger and more comfortable than I expected.
That's why the clock on the bed was disappointing.

It is one of the few hotels in Shizunai where you can stay with pets.
There is no elevator so carry your luggage up the stairs. I think that it is better to specify 2F if you have large luggage.
The room is clean enough. The pet room was a smoking room, but it didn't smell like cigarettes.
There is plenty of parking, so late check-in is not a problem.
There is no place to eat around, so it is recommended to check in after having dinner.

Visited on 4/28. This was my second stay, having stayed here 7-8 years ago when I came to see the cherry blossoms at Nijukken-dori. I knew the building was small, 3 stories, and had no elevator, but the bath was surprisingly small. I don't remember it. It would be full if three people were in it. The breakfast venue is small, so you have to go first thing in the morning, or go when those people have finished eating. This time, I went to Nijukken-dori before breakfast, and when I returned after 7:00, the venue was full, so I had to wait until about 7:30.

There were towels lying around (soaked) probably because of a leak from the window frame due to the rain the day before. The floor was also wet and the moment I entered the room it smelled moldy so I sprayed the Febreze provided and turned on the dehumidifier on the air conditioner even though it wasn't hot.
