Overall feeling: This resort is not worth the price. 70% of the guests are Chinese. I feel like they have done a lot of marketing in China. I feel like I have been cheated.
Pros: The room is big. The children like the smiling pool very much. The scenery is also OK (but any ski resort in Hokkaido has such scenery).
Cons: The facilities are very old and the level of domestic guest houses.
The food is 60 points, not bad nor delicious.
Another point is that we booked two rooms for 4 people, but we actually went with 4 people and 2 8-year-old children. We also had two rooms in Sapporo. I gave 6 passports without any additional fees. When we arrived here, we also gave 6 passports and charged 15,000 RMB for three nights. In fact, I think no one cares if we give 4 passports. You can buy tickets for the Smiling Beach, Ice Town, and the Mountain Cable Car separately. It depends on the individual. It’s a bit painful to charge 15,000 RMB for two children for three nights.
