東横インというと、駅近にあるビジネスホテルのイメージがあり、そのイメージ通り駅の周辺にあることが多いんですが、下関の東横インは、下関駅から数百ｍ離れた場所にありました。名前についている「ゆめタワー」がすぐ近くにあって、国道９号線に面して建っています。裏通りには飲食店が多くて、下関の繁華街に建っているので、便利な立地でした。 東横インですから豪華なシティホテルを求める人にはお勧めしません。リーズナブルだけど、館内も客室内も明るく清潔で、無料朝食もついています。スタッフも好感が持てる人たちで、快適に滞在できました。

下関での宿泊先は、東横イン下関海峡ゆめタワー前にしました。その名の通り、海峡ゆめタワーが近く、国道９号線沿いにあり、下関の飲食店街が裏手に広がっている場所に建っています。 東横インですからゴージャスな高級ホテルを希望する人には不向きです。リーズナブルな価格ですが、施設は明るくて清潔でした。無料の朝食もコロナ対応がしっかりなされていて、パックに詰めた食事を客室に持ち帰っていただくこともできました。

雨風強かったので駅からタクシーに乗ると2ブロックくらいで着いてしまいました。 近くにコンビニもあり立地は便利な所にありました。 部屋はいつも通り清潔に保たれていました。

〇受付の方(女性)は25h勤務を頑張ってました、お疲れ様です。 ・以下不満(仕方ないんですが) ・26:00頃にロビーフロを掃除機で清掃するのは良いが、挨拶位しなさい。 ・疲れてるのは良く解るけど、ムッツリして不満タラタラで仕事をしてはダメ。 ・曲がりなりにもサービス業なんだから、客前では営業スマイルかまそうよ。 ・部屋が物凄く狭い！、正直止まらなければ良かった。 ・部屋からの景色も最悪。 ・USB充電設備がない。 ・レイアウトがへた**で、イスに座ると小型冷蔵庫が開かない。 ・ランドリー(1Fフロントフロア)は縦にたたみ二畳分しかなく、洗濯機・乾燥機が各2台、洗濯石鹸も￥30で売ってますが、非常に買いにくい場所に。 ・朝食は一応タダでついてるけど、安い弁当やのトレーもどきに盛る形式であり、調味料(特に醤油)がないのが残念。 ・シンクは深く肩までつかれますが、溜まるのを待ってられない水流 ・風呂場には歯ブラシセットしかンない ・トイレットペーパーを△折りしてはダメです、そこに細菌が溜まり増殖します。 ◇結論 ・改装して客室数を減らし、各部屋のポテンシャルをあげるべき。 ・駅からもやや離れている上、観光で利用すると後悔するLVのホテル。
