Onsen Experience: Two distinct hot springs with private access in the morning/evening, noted for cleanliness and relaxing ambiance.

Although this is a guesthouse that serves meals, I was surprised at how well the food was prepared, which is unusual for a guesthouse. I've never had rice cooked in a clay pot using locally grown Koshihikari rice before. The food itself is also quite elaborate. The breakfast is also excellent.
The appearance and taste are no longer at the level of a guesthouse.
There are two hot springs to enjoy: a cypress bath and a rock bath.
You will be asked to lay out your futon while you eat.
However, the washroom (one) and toilets (one large and one small for men) are shared.
Bath towels are also provided.
There was no hair dryer.
The room and the area around the inn are quiet. I was woken up by the sound of a Japanese bush warbler singing in the morning.
There's nothing you can do about it, but there are quite a few stink bugs in the area, so they may appear in your room.
It is about a 1.3 km walk from Yunokami Onsen Station, but the sidewalk narrows along the way and there is a fair amount of vehicular traffic, so it is safer to walk uphill on a separate road after passing the convenience store.

It's very stylish! 👍✨
This is an inn that exudes adult style!
I think it's an inn that people of a certain age will appreciate more than younger people!!
Without a doubt! I'll definitely be coming back!! 😉👌✨

Perfect experience. The host is hospitable and polite. The interior of the B&B is full of Japanese cultural heritage, with exquisite wood and local decorations. The standard of dinner and breakfast is comparable to that of a Michelin restaurant. The presentation, taste, and variety are all at the highest level. Fukushima beef and horse meat are fresh and delicious. There are two hot springs in the hotel, namely wood and stone, for you to choose from. All bath products are of the Aesop brand. Desserts and green tea are served in the room, and the Wi-Fi signal is strong. I will definitely come back.

Three of us stayed one night in the ryokan. We received a very friendly welcome. The parking lot is on the opposite side of the house. Our room was above the onsen. There were two onsen. These were divided between men and women during the day. In the morning and evening you could use them privately. One onsen was made of wood, the other of stone. The onsen also had the toilets for the rooms. The room was large. There was tea in the room. The beds were laid out during dinner. The futons were very comfortable and there was a hot water bottle. The air conditioning had to be on because the room cooled down quickly. In the evening you could hear the onsen's ventilation system, which was turned off at night.
The food was excellent! The owner explained the dishes in English. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

It was the peak season during the Obon holiday, so it was quiet, and I didn't have any particular expectations when I visited, but I was surprised. The food was excellent, and the taste and presentation were very tasteful and exquisite. The bath was a little hot, but the water was great. The food and water were top-notch. The rooms were of the standard of a private lodging, but it was a wonderful inn that I would like to visit again.
