The food was good. The bath attached to the room was also very nice as the running water felt like it was clinging to my skin.

I was really looking forward to it, but I was quite disappointed. I stayed at Pygmalion, and first of all the room smelled moldy. The room was on the second floor facing the mountain behind the inn, which is not shown in the photos of the inn, and there was no view, just bushes in front of me. The sun didn't shine in during the day, and the room was dark even though it was sunny outside. It might be fine if it was a corner room, but if you value a view, you should be careful. Also, the work clothes in the room smelled so bad I couldn't wear them. And there were a lot of plants and shrubs in the lobby, and they seemed to be keeping animals, and it smelled like a greenhouse and a zoo mixed together, which was very unpleasant. Even though it was a sunny day. If you keep animals in the building, I think it's natural for an inn to thoroughly clean and ventilate the building, but I wondered why the landlady, employees, and regular customers here didn't mind the smell. The food was poor and salty, and when I checked out, I had to stand at the front desk for about 20 minutes, and I just wondered what was going on at this inn. I had wanted to stay there someday after reading a blog by a female celebrity, but it turns out she was just a poster girl. I was really disappointed.

This time, we will be traveling around Izu for 4 days and 3 nights. All accommodations have hot springs. Among them, the spring quality was exceptionally good. Stayed in the Pygmalion building, all rooms with open-air baths. What does pH9.5 feel like? I thought to myself as I soaked it in, and it immediately became slippery! It feels like a layer of the surface of your body has been peeled off. It feels good. Furthermore, since it was drinkable, there was a cup in the open-air bath in the room. When I drank it, the water was soft and easy to drink. In addition to an indoor bath and an open-air bath, the large public bath for women has an American spa consisting of a jacuzzi and jet bath, so you can enjoy bathing there. Meals were prepared using this hot spring water, and I received it as a souvenir. Even cosmetics are made with this hot spring water. It is placed there for you to try. It seems to be gentle on the skin and stomach. The hallways in this building are also tatami-matted, so you can walk barefoot. The tatami in the room was clean and comfortable. Even though it was a standard room, it was spacious enough and I was able to spend a relaxing time. Meals are also located in this building, so getting around is easy. Dishes made with hot spring water are easy-to-eat Japanese dishes. The sakura shrimp kamameshi was delicious. This is enough for refills. Day trip bathing facilities are also available until 4pm. After 4pm, there is a public bath for guests and an open-air bath in their room. I was already soaking up the hot springs. The quality of the spring water is the best, so there's nothing to say about it. Hot springs, hot springs, hot springs.

I was invited by a child to use it from March 21st to 22nd. I used it several times for day trip hot springs. The quality of the spring water is excellent. I don't think there are any hot springs with a pH of 9.5 on the Izu Peninsula. The skin is smooth, which women love. Since I live in Nishiizu, I have never stayed there before. A relative of my child runs the hotel (we stayed there without telling the hotel), so I can't give you too many details, but the employees were very kind. It is best to check the schedule for the shuttle bus from Shimoda Station. We were unable to confirm with the travel agency. The child came by train from Tokyo, so there was a slight mistake. But the child was uninterested. I took a taxi and enjoyed the countryside scenery along the way. That's plenty of room. The view from my room is always in the scenic Nishi-Izu area, so I'm used to this kind of view. I have a photo, but the JPG size doesn't match.

A solitary inn deep in the mountains near Shimoda. I used it for a day trip bath. The bathing fee is high at 1500 yen. There is a building exclusively for day trip bathing, with indoor and outdoor baths. The indoor bathtub is made of wood and is beautiful. The hot springs are drinkable. It feels a little thick. It's a nice hot spring.
