Candeo Hotels Shizuoka Shimada

This is probably a mistake on the booking site, but the room doesn't have a unit bath (only a toilet). I was surprised because I didn't have that kind of plan. Well, there is a large public bath, so it's not a problem in the winter even if there is no shower in the room, but you have to be careful in the summer. By the way, this is not the hotel's problem, so please don't misunderstand...

The outdoor bath on the top floor is great and well managed, with a sauna. There are also four hot spring pools. There is also free happy hour at night for drinking. It is a bit far from the city, but there are luxury buses that go directly to the door.

Trip.com was cheaper than anywhere else. I was able to park in the parking lot because it was right after Golden Week. The hotel is simple and there is nothing unnecessary inside, but it's not a problem. It was my first time at a Candeo Hotel. The shampoos are made in Italy and have a very nice scent. The same ones are available at the Sky Spa on the top floor.◎Photography is not allowed at the Sky Spa, but the view is great and the spa is also great.◎There are reclining chairs outside, so it's the best. The room is also neat. There was a slipper provided, so I used my own that I had beforehand. The room had a view of Mt. Fuji in the distance from the window. I had checked in advance that there were no restaurants nearby, so I went to the nearby supermarket Takoju, which was within walking distance, to buy dinner. Breakfast was at the hotel, and there were many types of side dishes, and they used seasonal vegetables, so they were all delicious.◎I ate TKG, and there were about 10 different soy sauces lined up (lol) It was fun. I really liked the concept of the Candeo Hotel. I want to try other Candeo Hotels besides Shimada.

古い設備にがっかり カンデオホテルズのリブランドでした。 前進はワシントンホテルかな。。。 客室廊下はリノベーションされてましたが、居室内はほぼ前進のまま。30年前の設備にガッカリ。 最上階の大浴場は、男女入れ替え制。 これまたガッカリ。

ちょっと残念 衛生面は問題ありません ただ、チェックインのピークタイムにフロントにスタッフ1名しかいなく、大混雑 しかも、朝食付きで予約したのに予約されていません、と言われ、ホテル側のミスでした 大浴場も入れ替え制で大変不便 他のカンデオに宿泊していますが、こちらだけではないでしょうか… 極め付けはエアコンが全く効かず、暑くて眠れませんでした 窓を開けて過ごしましたが、蚊が入ってきて不快でした
