Overall the stay was Good. The front desk Staff lead by Triyash were polite and prompt in service. Both pool boys were very active and prompt in attending the Guests. Lady Chefs at the local speciality counter were the best during Breakfast and Dinner time. The Jala Roti was the best dish. live station items were nice. The security team at the porch and gate were very alert. A few from our group were jumping the median and I could see the concern the main gate Guard showed by coming forward near to the road.

The service was really great specially the service extended to us by Mr. RAJESH and Mr. RUPAM was commendable. The quality and choices in breakfast & dinner was great. My kids enjoyed having gala spread of Deserts in dinner and juices in Breakfast. Housekeeping was also good as they kept the rooms clean and neat. Overall experience was Excellent.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the Police bazar area opposite the historic Meghalaya legislative assembly building. The breakfast buffet is delicious & full of multicuisine western & Indian variety - from waffles & pancakes to dosas & idilis. A-la-cart dinner experience of East-Asian food was also great. The front-desk staff & other house staff were very helpful and gracious. Most notable was F&B staff, Rupam & Sayoo. Though this was work related travel, I was traveling with my mother on wheel-chair. So, the staff were very helpful. But there is some room for improvement, though. It would be good to have some hand railings installed in bathrooms beside toilet-seats for handicapped guests. It would be also good to have glass doors with proper sealing installed to keep the water from the shower wetting the bathroom floors. These are basic eminities that guests expect in 5 star hotels.

Vivanta Taj Meghalaya is a beautiful place to stay—elegant, serene, and welcoming. The staff is exceptionally polite and courteous, making every moment special. The breakfast spread is absolutely awesome—delicious and well presented. A heartfelt thank you to Rupom and Rajesh for your warm and attentive service during breakfast!

We had dinner twice here. Spread 5/5 Taste 5/5 Hospitality 6/5 ! We requested for a different soup than one in the spread ! Thanks to Chef Gopal, who not only accepted this, but also, asked us for the choice ! He also asked, if we wanted anything more! Once again, we experienced the Taj hospitality !

The room and the service was amazing. The rooms were cleaned and mainatined very nicely, very nice washrooms. The breakfast buffet was the best part, variety of food options available. Special mention to Rasesh , Rupom and Sayoo for their amazing service again, they were readily available to our needs and service. Over all very nice experience. Would recommend for a nice family vacation stay.
