The toilet in the room smelled bad. I didn't want to go in, so I had to hold it in until the bathroom. Other than that, the landlady was wonderful and the food was delicious. However, the smell of the toilet was unbearable, which negated that.

The service was very good. We booked a Japanese-style suite. The room was beautiful and the view outside the window was great, but the toilet was very smelly! ! ! ! It also smells bad in the room, which is the only big drawback! ! The breakfast was just so-so, and the dinner was just okay. Nothing wrong with it. It’s just that the toilet in the room is really smelly. I won’t go there again 😭

I stayed here for 2 days and 1 night. I stayed in a room on the top floor, 8th floor, with a view of the mountains. The bedroom was a comfortable Western-style room (with a bed). The private bath was a bit pricey at 3800 yen, but you could enjoy the view and the water was good. People walking around could probably see it, though. I was able to enjoy the delicious breakfast buffet while looking at the mountains. On the 5th floor, there was an explanation of the connection between Noguchi Ujo and the inn, which I enjoyed reading.

I applied through the inn's website. The open-air bath had been renovated and was beautiful. The only disappointment was that the bath was unexpectedly deep, and I wish there was a step in the bath or a warning sign about how deep it was. It would be even better if there was a water dispenser and a weight scale. Also, perhaps the comments section of the application on the website was not checked, as the special order dishes and buckwheat pillows (we requested a change of pillow as we have a buckwheat allergy) were not confirmed, so we had to ask again on the day. The inn's staff were all friendly and approachable, and seemed to be working hard, which made me feel comfortable.
