GGuest UserThe landlord is very nice, we checked in before 8 o'clock in the morning from the ferry. I also patiently introduced us to the delicious and fun surroundings. Then, because the room was not full that day, we originally booked room 2 and the landlord let us live in room 5 on the top of the building. The view was very good. The breakfast is also great, it's always just a very pleasant experience~

AAsh76I cannot say enough good about this place. Very central to Lerwick and a lovely room and Host. Host is kind and generous. Allowing use of fridge and microwave was such a plus. The breakfast provided was self serve but lots of tasty options which were topped up daily. Really loved this place.

GGuest UserVery good hotel, the boss is very good, warm and kind, tell us which attractions are worth going, the hotel is in the center of the main island, the scenery is very beautiful, close to the supermarket and gas station, there is a small shop, a fish and chip shop is very close, there is also a takeaway Chinese restaurant, But the taste is the kind of foreign improved version, closer to Taiwan, but I recommend the hotel's lunch and dinner, you can tell the boss what you want to eat, the boss will prepare very carefully, we do not know, after communicating with the boss, the boss prepared fish meal and chicken meal, Of course, the requirements are made according to our requirements. It is very delicious. Of course, the Chinese food boss will not do it, but the curry rice made by the boss is delicious, because we like to eat light, the taste is similar to Michelin, the hotel bed is soft and hard.
In the middle, the facilities are good. We went to see the aurora. The boss also told us where to see it better. Which website reads the warning. This hotel is warm like home. It is recommended that you book this hotel, but you must book three months in advance in summer, otherwise there is no place.

GGuest UserWe stayed in room 11 upstairs in June 2024. The room was very small, with a low ceiling under the dormer. The double bed was small with a tiny duvet that barely covered the bed. They had maybe run out of clean sheets as instead of a bottom fitted sheet on the mattress they had used a valance sheet which didn't stay on. The mattress was hard foam, not sprung, which I found hard to sleep on. The bedside lights had odd lightbulbs, one was too adark and one ws too bright. There was one large window in the room with good views but it quickly steamed up as there was a lack of ventilation in the room. The window opened fully into the room with no way to lock it at a certain position to stop it blowing open or stop the rain coming in. The bathroom had a bath with a shower hose attached to the taps which worked surprising well, although it leaked a bit. There was no fan in the bathroom so again no ventilation. The bathroom was also dark. Breakfast was very good. Dinner at the asian restaurant on site was excellent. The staff were very friendly.
