Struggling with this review because of the “yo-yo” experience. It didn’t quite live up to the super overall ratings. Room was delightful although the mattress was uncomfortable. No real room amenities…hand soap was in shower as bath gel? The slipper thing is a bit weird…don’t expect to be told I have to wear ill-fitting slippers around inside a place we stay. There were no treats, water, coffee, etc. available. Usually at a B&B there is a little something available. The exterior grounds are unkept…nothing like pictures posted. The breakfast lived up to its billing the hosts were delightful.

We had a wonderful stay at Il de Garde B&B. Room bookings and communication were seamless. The rooms were beautifully appointed and the breakfasts exceptional. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating. We highly recommend Il de Garde and look forward to another stay in the future.

Eight of us enjoyed a wonderful stay at Ile de Garde B&B. The owners were in contact with us before our arrival and were there waiting for us. There was secure storage for our bikes. The rooms were all large and very comfortable with big beds, dark curtains, AC and great bathrooms. The place is spotless and very much reminded me of places I've stayed in France. The breakfasts were excellent! Each one was unique and delicious. There was good variety and we were all happy. The B&B is in a great location - quiet and just a short 10-15 min walk into the centre of Sherbrooke. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend Ild de Garde to friends and others.

This house is incredible! Our room was very nice and clean. The owner has written information about the history of the house and the people who influenced her while decorating. The breakfasts were delicious and artistically prepared. Sherbrooke is a lovely city and I'd love to visit there again.

A beautiful home situated perfectly near centre-ville in Sherbrooke. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and made sure our stay was a pleasant as possible -- the breakfasts were really nicely put together and it was interesting to explore the different rooms in this home. We would recommend to anyone!

Most gracious hosts ever - an endlessly interesting Inn both in history and current collections of art, literature and furniture. Comfortable and well appointed. Best Inn breakfast and coffee ever. Before you go do a little research on Hildegard von Bingen - you’ll see why when you are there!

We love the beauty of this house, inside and outside, and thoroughly enjoyed the very creative breakfast. And coincidentally, we love the music of Hildegarde von Bingen; we did not realize until we stayed there that the name of the Inn was in honor of Hildegarde!
