Shenzhen Bao'an District Hotels

This was my first time in Shenzhen, and I absolutely loved this hotel. The room was spotless, and the location was fantastic, right in the business district. Tianbao Brothers is just across the street downstairs, and Qianhai One City is only a five-minute walk away. The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. She showed us to our room, recommended nearby coastal parks for an evening stroll, and even lent me a charger when mine broke. When my feet got blisters from walking around, she immediately provided band-aids. Her service was truly exceptional and so thoughtful. I'll definitely be back next time! 😊

The room was bright and clean, offering superb value for money. The location is also quite good; you can get anywhere easily by public transport. There's an abundance of food options right downstairs, which is incredibly convenient. I highly recommend a nearby dessert shop called Tang Xu – their desserts are absolutely delicious! 👍

Specifically, I would like to commend Oscar from the front desk for his outstanding professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine commitment to ensuring a memorable guest experience. Upon check-in, Oscar greeted me with warmth and efficiency, setting a positive tone for my stay. During check-out, he took the time to kindly ask about my experience and listened attentively to my feedback. When I mentioned a minor issue, he promptly addressed it with great care and resolution. Additionally, his thoughtful gesture of presenting a teddy bear as a gift truly touched me and significantly enhanced my overall impression of the hotel. While my stay was mostly pleasant, there were two minor incidents that could have impacted my experience. First, there was a misunderstanding with the concierge team regarding courier delivery services. Fortunately, the butler quickly stepped in, understood my needs, and made an exception to assist me. She also patiently explained the reasons behind the policy, doing so in such a polite and comforting manner that I truly appreciated. Secondly, there were no universal sockets compatible with UK plugs, my laptop ran out of battery but I had to reply an email via that laptop. I contacted the butler for a converter, after over 10 minutes, one was provided but no way to plug to the wall socket. I called the butler again, then it took nearly an hour for the housekeeping team to find a suitable power strip. I acknowledge that, as a guest, I should have been better prepared, and I understand that such situations can sometimes be beyond the hotel’s immediate control. Or maybe my expectation to the butler team is far over. Despite these small setbacks, Oscar’s efforts during check-out completely eased my frustrations and left a lasting positive impression. His dedication to guest satisfaction is truly commendable, and I believe he is a valuable asset to your team. I hope this feedback reaches the appropriate channels and that Oscar receives the recognition he deserves. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay, and I look forward to returning to the St. Regis in the future.

Both the ambiance and service at this hotel are excellent. They even have a fitness center on the top floor. Whenever I visit Shenzhen, I always make it a point to stay here, even if my business takes me a bit out of the way. The service is truly exceptional; I accidentally left my glasses in my room, and they went above and beyond by mailing them back to me free of charge. Their service is simply outstanding!

The hotel has such comfortable beddings that we have to extend our stay to recharge further! Thanks to Alaia for her assistance in handling our parcel and Olivia for arranging special late check out for us! Awesome stay, we will come back again! Very relaxing environment with resort setting at the cafe area too. Will also try the Chinese restaurant tonight, reviews are looking good. Hilton Honor members also got extra discount at outlets !

Nice location with nearby train station and night market. Room all clean and come with AI service, for sure will book the same hotel for my next ShenZhen visit 🙂👍🏻

Although it's more of a business hotel, we stayed with our kids this time, primarily due to their excellent swimming facilities. The front desk staff, as often noted online, were indeed quite reserved and didn't smile much. Perhaps that's due to the hotel's business-centric focus? Being a Marriott member, I was granted a late check-out until 2 PM, which was a nice perk. The swimming pool was excellent, as expected. Despite the 1.35-meter depth, the lanes were long enough for a comfortable swim. The gym was also quite impressive, fully equipped with everything you'd need. The buffet dinner deserves a special mention; the ingredients were high quality, and they were generous with premium cuts and main dishes. The 5J ham was plentiful and free-flowing, the culinary team was highly professional, and the service was attentive and proactive. Overall, a huge thumbs up! The JW standard truly shines through.

Hyatt hotels truly live up to their reputation, wherever they are located – always excellent! The hotel is incredibly convenient and efficient to reach; it's just a 5-minute straight walk from the airport arrivals exit, without even having to leave the terminal building. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and highly efficient. Upon exiting the elevator on the 7th floor, I encountered a male staff member who very enthusiastically helped me carry my large suitcase to my room, even though it was already past 11:30 PM. My sincere thanks to him! The room was spacious, bright, and clean, with high-quality bedding and an exceptionally comfortable bed, allowing me to drift off to sleep very quickly. The breakfast spread was extensive and diverse, featuring both Chinese and Western cuisine, all of which was absolutely delicious! I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

My stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Shenzhen Tongtai truly exceeded my expectations, absolutely deserving a five-star rating! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the warm and welcoming service was immediately apparent. The staff proactively assisted with my luggage and check-in, smiling throughout and patiently answering all my questions. Their meticulous and thoughtful service made me feel completely at home. The room itself was an even bigger surprise! The overall environment was spotless and comfortable, with a simple yet elegant decor where every detail exuded quality. The bedding was wonderfully soft, instantly melting away the day's fatigue. The room boasted excellent natural light and an expansive view, offering beautiful cityscapes through the window. The bathroom featured a convenient wet/dry separation, and the toiletries were of high quality. Thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks and welcome fruit added to the warmth. It's clear the hotel management is incredibly dedicated and attentive – truly impressive! The hotel's public areas were also impeccably maintained, with well-appointed and professional facilities. The breakfast buffet was extensive, offering a wide array of delicious Chinese and Western dishes. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is an outstanding choice. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shenzhen, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!

Not worth 5 star. Hotel not worth money we paid. … lot of amenities missing in room. Very bad pool used as school for teaching swimming. Can not even relax from noise of teacher and kids who was swimming missing chairs around pool and sun bed. Breakfast 120 rmb not worth even 20 rmb was nothing to eat only Chinese food Reception desk small and staff not talk English bathroom. Very small can not even be 2 people inside and most funny 5 star hotel asking to pay for phone charger lol
