The cottage was comfortable enough though the kitchen counter space was not big enough; I suggest a small cart on whells that could double as a place to put things by the door when coming or going. The setting is jvery quiet and there's a lovely view and the TV selections were great. I thought the bathtub was a bit slippery abd would have liked a shower hose and grab bar, but I managed. The only problem here is the owner's attitude. He is abrupt, verging on rude and VERY defensive. This is not optimal when dealing with the publlic. Since he is not mlikely to change his personality, perhaps he could let other staff handle guest interactions.

Will book again!
We've stayed in the area before. This was such a great place in comparison to another place we tried previously. Close to amenities, super accessible to the highway. Beautiful area. Saw a deer while sitting outside.
Has fire pit, hammocks, put our feet in the river. It was great.

Beautiful cabin
I booked this location for a one night stay for work. I arrived after dark to wake up the next morning to find the true beauty of the country setting with the river flowing just metres away from the cabin.

Great cottages near Shelburne, NS
I stayed here for several days and thoroughly enjoyed my time at Roseway River Cottages. My cottage was clean and comfortable, and it had the items that I needed to stay comfortably: all the right equipment in the kitchen for basic cooking, plenty of hot water, comfortable bed and linens, fast internet, and comfortable furniture throughout the cabin. The natural setting of this place is absolutely magnificent! I would definitely stay at this facility again.
