This hotel is perfectly situated on the Sheboygan River within walking distance to Lake Michigan. It is also on the cusp of downtown Sheboygan and all its amenities, as well as within walking distance to a Kohler art museum. You can walk the river on either side of it. There is a bridge next to the hotel. The river walk is lined with shops and restaurants. Truly distinguished restaurants are downtown, only about three blocks away. Depending on the room you select you can look out and see the river current sparkling back at you, day or night. This view is even more in evidence in the breakfast room, which is about to be renovated to host a bar. The hotel is under new management and it really shows. The rooms are being mainstreamed according to a high standard. The staff could not be more friendly or accommodating. Do yourself a favor. This is a beautiful hotel and location. Stay here at this small, private, exquisite hotel, and be both delighted and at peace.

Great location. Super friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Little outdated but they are remodeling so will be a problem of the past. I’ll be back soon!

We stayed for one night on the way to Door County. The hotel was well positioned and the staff were very friendly. Sheboygan was a great little town with lovely beach and a few nice coffee shops and bars.

Not as great as we expected from the reviews. Personnel were not the most friendly. We were surprised that there was no elevator to the second floor rooms. New management has a job to do to modernize and replace the worn-out carpets. Reception area was under construction during our visit.

Visited Sheboygan to go fishing for a couple days on a charter boat. We've stayed at the Harbor Winds before and found it to be an excellent location for access to the boats as well as dining. The hotel is clean and comfortable.

A quiet little jem of a hotel located on the boardwalk off Lake Michigan. Location is perfect with shopping, food and plenty of things to do. Just loved walking out of the hotel to the boardwalk.

Last minute trip and was worried nothing would be available. This was a perfect spot, clean, quiet, right on the riverwalk. It wasn't luxurious but wasn't below average either. I would stay there again.

Be aware that there is no elevator if you have a mobility issue. The room had a beautiful view, very comfortable beds, and room darkening drapes.
