Camel Dive Club & Hotel - Boutique Hotel

My daughter and I had such a brilliant experience at Camel last summer that we returned this year - and it was as wonderful as ever. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff throughout the hotel - they are warm and welcoming and couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is very clean and well looked after, and the food in Pomodoro is delicious. As two females on our own we felt very safe with Camel. The dive club is truly excellent - everyone is professional and friendly and helpful, and the diving experience feels super safe every time. The fellow divers we met were also lovely - diving at Camel feels like a real community where everyone is decent, respectful and supportive and all share the love of the ocean and marine life. My daughter did her open water course and nitrox course last year, and this year I did my nitrox course and she did her advanced course. Last year and this year our instructor was Maher who is absolutely BRILLIANT and I cannot praise him highly enough as an instructor and as a dive guide and as an all-round wonderful person. All the Camel team from the dive instructors to all the crew on the boat are fantastic and so helpful. We were lucky enough to do some fantastic dives at Tiran and Ras Muhammed. Before last year I had previously stayed in 5 different hotels/dive clubs in Sharm but once we found Camel last year that was it - diving with them is really special and is a real joy. If you get the chance to go to Camel - do it, you won't regret it!
