Pros & cons. Arrived an hour late and the hotel provided hot food for all late arrivals … which set the tone of their hospitality. ( never experienced before so very impressed ) Pano from the animation team is a LIVING LEGNED ! Hotel, facilities & entertainment are top tier. The animation team also earn their keep as they maintain the vibe all day & well into the evening. Staff are the most friendliest people to come into contact with .. any issue you may have they are very speedy to assist. Main buffet - excellent Asian restaurant - not the best but down to personal preference Americano - missed out due to health issue on the day of booking ( but have heard nothing but fantastic reviews from fellow travelers) Pools are maintained, life guards positioned very well and actually pay attention to job role. Spa - booked a sport massage, it was the best experience for myself as I’m an ex footballer and have neglected my body and they gave me advice and tips for future treatments as I still have tension. I have no negative comments about the hotel and all the staff as they all went above and beyond, I made a point of taking out extra cash just to tip the staff I came into contact with as they made my holiday a dream come true as it was my first time in Egypt and will not be the last. Downsides - the minute you leave the hotel and wonder to nearby shops, you will be harassed with “fixed prices” in reality this isn’t the case, you’ll be over charged and intimidated to purchase. Only 1 shop to the left of hotel ( past falcon towards McDonald) gave courtesy and allowed you to shop freely, the others felt the need to follow and give unwanted tours and history lessons which will end in “ you buy “ “good price “ A “new art shop “ to the right of the hotel was also a unique experience I will avoid in future, after basically being trapped in the shop with again unwanted explanations to questions never asked..etc …but avoid price talks until they have finished their pitch, they will then gaslight you after questioning prices , my partner ended up paying the £150 for creams just to get out the shop as she felt the situation was going to get worse which you can gather I’m not impressed about. As the owner could see I wasn’t impressed and was ready to make my feelings more clear he threw in an art piece as she had her eyes on it . Turned out to be £159 by the time WiFi connected. ( see picture below ) Falcon has a lot to be desired as fantastic looking day/night trips, prices for excursions which seem fair … until you speak to other families and discover you paid more for the same day trip. After going back and forth about a particular issue we eventually got a refund for being overcharged. Be aware … once out on your day trips … the price will constantly go up as you realise you’ll be paying for everthing along the way .. eg - went on the dirt bike in the desert… if you go unprepared you’ll be paying for the scarf and goggles … if you de
