Occidental Sharjah Grand

The hotel is terrible, I don't understand where so many good reviews come from. The hotel is purely for Russian pensioners, you arrive and it's like you've arrived in Sochi, and the service, cleaning and cleanliness are all like in Sochi, and the contingent is appropriate - Russian pensioners. The music by the pool is loud and creepy, the pool is 3 meters deep, the plates are dirty like in Turkey, the breakfast is average, the rooms on the -1 and -2 floors with a sea view are actually with a view of the pool and that's it. The room is very dark, there is no light at all, that is, in the evening after sunset, there is nothing to do in the room, you can't see anything, this is a big minus in my opinion. The air conditioner is very loud, well, really noisy. In the bathroom, water from the shower spills all over the bathroom and it becomes slippery, there were no slippers in the room. Towels for the beach are given out with cards like in the Soviet Union. Plus: average breakfast, with dirty dishes, a large beach with lots of crabs and nowhere to step, walking like a minefield. I didn't like the hotel at all, too expensive, 3* conditions.

This is the fourth time I booked this hotel. This is the most disappointing time. In addition to the beautiful sea view, the hotel has no other advantages. The front desk service is not very good and not professional enough. Only one Indian guy is good. The room has been renovated, but the facilities are still simple. The safe is broken. There is no paper towel in the room. The place for shower gel is also empty. The hotel is under renovation and the noise is very loud. It is impossible to rest in the room during the day.
