Chairman Mao’s hometown, because I usually like sports, I chose this hotel. I also heard that I can walk to the free attraction Martyrs Cemetery to check in. I can climb up in the morning and overlook half of Lushan. The air scenery is really good. I also went to the youth statue table to punch in the statue of Grandpa Mao when he was old. The hotel was very good in all aspects. I just happened to meet the hotel. The four harms were being eliminated, so all aspects of hygiene really gave me a sense of peace of mind, a good accommodation experience, The hotel's room card design is also very red culture, the front desk clerk is really very enthusiastic, there are questions and answers, good value for money next year, when you go to the former residence square, you still have to feel a sentence, it is worthy of the hometown of a great man.

This is a very typical rural B&B, with a restaurant on the first floor and guest rooms on the second and third floors. The B&B is located in a village at the entrance of the scenic spot. Parking is allowed and pets are allowed. It is about 500 meters away from the former residence of the elders and the Bronze Statue Square. The owner's service is warm and the room is clean. The facilities are simple and outdated. The bathroom did not provide bath towels and there was no shower. The bedding may be too basic and make a twitching sound when you turn over. In Shaoshan in March, the temperature at night was very low, so I needed to turn on the air conditioner, but the sound from the outdoor air conditioner was loud, like a tractor. When I turned off the air conditioner, the same sound came from the outdoor air conditioners in other rooms, and the quilt was a little thin. Great choice for light sleepers. It’s okay to just pass by on a self-driving tour and stay overnight.

GGuest UserThe couple running this renovated traditional home in Mao's home village are very attentive to guests' needs, even on the busiest day of the year, December 26th, Chairman Mao's birthday. My partner was coming down with a cold and got some ginger soup to drink. Additionally, when we screwed up our schedule and almost couldn't make our train out of Shaoshan, with no train available to reschedule, the couple arranged for the husband to drive us to the station for little more than gas money. It's up a slight hill from the other inns and allows one to get a bit of peace and quiet, again, even on the busiest day of the year, when Shaoshan is very worth a visit for anyone interested in Mao Zedong's legacy, given the number of Chinese people who show up to sing, dance, wave various flags and give speeches. Don't make our mistake and schedule the Chairman Mao memorial hall for a full visit instead of rushing though it. The exhibit is full of pictures and dioramas and has English captions for most things.
I also wish we'd had time to explore the pagoda on the hill behind the guesthouse.
