Hotels in Shaoguandong Railway Station/The History East Street, Shaoguan

Excellent location in Shaoguan. Next to the largest and newest mall. Hotel is new with an impressive arrival area. Breakfast. Good spread with good dim sum. They varied some the dishes ao that longer staying guests would have variety. Staff were pleasant and helpful in the dining hall Rooms. Nicely designed and quiet. Sheets are of great quality. Safe in room. Slippers provides. Conditioner for hair. Pillows were labeled and 2 firm ones and 2 soft ones provided. The only thing I can complain about is the headboard for the beds. It was visibly dirty. Amenities: indoor pool which we did not use. Gym with 3 treadmills and 1 elliptical and woke weights machines. Not bad overall but there was no water provided. Staff at reception: the older lady who served us when we checked in was excellent. She suggested places for us to go and was very enthusiastic about guiding us on top of sorting our check in details. The young male staff who attended to us when we checked out was unbelievably unhelpful and uninterested when we asked about a particular attraction. His answer was just no and don't know. Did not bother to help check with colleagues or make calls. This marred an otherwise good experience at Holiday inn. Conclusion Excellent hotel for the price point

I give this hotel 98 points. 2 points are deducted because the room does not have intelligent products. But the hotel facilities are relatively complete, clean, soundproof, good service, good parking 👍 The location is close to the river (room 1005 this time), with a panoramic view of the city of Zhenjiang District. Downstairs is a shopping mall, shopping, movies, food, massage, and everything is available. The most recommended is the buffet on the first floor, which costs more than 100 yuan and has a great environment. There are hot pot, sashimi, Western food, Chinese food, and private rooms. Facilities: The facilities are actually quite well renovated, but the room smells really bad. I really suggest that you increase the ventilation time. The new decoration smells a bit pungent. Other places are very good, very high-end, with complete facilities, including a gym, a laundry room, and breakfast. Hygiene: The overall hygiene is very good, but there are small cockroach corpses behind the pillow. This does not have a big impact, but it is disgusting to see. Environment: The environment is very good and parking is convenient, but there are no food and entertainment nearby. But for me who go home to visit relatives, it is very close, and I can get home by crossing the road. Service: The service is super good, and the front desk responds to every request. It's great.

Yesterday the room was quite big, the whole service was OK, the price was quite high, suitable for traveling with a baby, very close to the Centennial East Street. I was in Shaoguan for a couple of nights for business and enjoyed the hotel and location so much that I booked an extra 3 nights. The rooms are modern and clean with USD outlets. The 15sqm Double Room is pretty compact so I upgraded to a 25sqm Superior Double Room with QB when I extended. It has a proper desk if you need to use your laptop. The staff are friendly. Simple breakfast but enough variety and some Western options. The location is a short walk to a huge walking/shopping street and a large shopping centre with a supermarket and food court. It's also around the corner from a massive park with a kid's fun park and rides. If you want to relax the 7th floor of the Ramada Hotel nearby has a great spa and massage.

My first time coming to Shaoguan and get to stay in this lovely hotel. Although location wise may not be in city center, but I love the quietness and everything in here make you feel super special. Huge breakfast buffet selection, friendly service, comfortable room size and super clean, that’s all I want from a hotel. ☺️

This stay was great! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, the front desk staff Yanzhi checked us in enthusiastically and quickly, and also recommended surrounding attractions. The environment is very quiet, the room is clean and tidy, the mattress is comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The gym is fully equipped and the breakfast is rich in variety, with both Chinese and Western food. The location is also excellent and convenient for travel. Come again next time!

Bring the children to Shaoguan for two days and one night and booked 2 suites. Living is very comfortable, there is a river view, the price of the room has been improved at once, looking out the window, the scenery of the entire Lijiang District has a panoramic view. A few hundred meters away from Shaoguan East Station, but I can't hear any sound of the train at night, and the whole is not bad!

The room is very new! However, the hot water is not hot enough, sometimes cold and sometimes hot, and washing is not smooth enough~ But the breakfast is quite rich~ There are noodles that are hot, overall it is not bad!
