Excellent location in Shaoguan. Next to the largest and newest mall. Hotel is new with an impressive arrival area. Breakfast. Good spread with good dim sum. They varied some the dishes ao that longer staying guests would have variety. Staff were pleasant and helpful in the dining hall Rooms. Nicely designed and quiet. Sheets are of great quality. Safe in room. Slippers provides. Conditioner for hair. Pillows were labeled and 2 firm ones and 2 soft ones provided. The only thing I can complain about is the headboard for the beds. It was visibly dirty. Amenities: indoor pool which we did not use. Gym with 3 treadmills and 1 elliptical and woke weights machines. Not bad overall but there was no water provided. Staff at reception: the older lady who served us when we checked in was excellent. She suggested places for us to go and was very enthusiastic about guiding us on top of sorting our check in details. The young male staff who attended to us when we checked out was unbelievably unhelpful and uninterested when we asked about a particular attraction. His answer was just no and don't know. Did not bother to help check with colleagues or make calls. This marred an otherwise good experience at Holiday inn. Conclusion Excellent hotel for the price point

It is really a five-star hotel and the best hotel in Shaoguan. Chenzhou was stuck in traffic, so I stayed in Shaoguan temporarily. The room is large and clean, and the wallpaper is a bit low-key and luxurious, and it is actually shining gold. There is a balcony where you can see the mountain. The balcony door is a one-way mirror, so you can see the outside from the inside, but you can't see the inside from the outside. The breakfast is very good, very good, with rich varieties and good taste. I didn't play in Shaoguan this time, and I will definitely stay here next time I come to see Danxia Mountain.

First of all, the location, there is a resident supermarket on the right hand side of the door, there are many fruits, rice noodle shops, pig noodle, various snack bars, very convenient; go to the left hand side for less than ten minutes, is the teahouse that locals love to drink. This island, go to drink morning tea every day, too comfortable. Our family of three, the child is 12 years old, I booked the hotel especially pay attention to the size of the bed, Liyi's family room is particularly suitable, a two-meter bed, a one-meter three, there is a regular living room outside, two bathrooms, this room type is simply great, live spacious and comfortable. My husband asked me to praise the hotel's air conditioning, the cooling effect is very good. The hygiene is also very clean, and it is very comfortable to go back to the room every day. The room is very new! However, the hot water is not hot enough, sometimes cold and sometimes hot, and washing is not smooth enough~ But the breakfast is quite rich~ There are noodles that are hot, overall it is not bad!

This is by far the best hotel that I can find in Shaoguan. It has spacious rooms, gorgeous waterfront view, quiet neighborhood, and convenient location. It is new and clean. The staffs are very responsive and friendly. You may find one or two hotels which can check some boxes, however, this is the only one that check all boxes. I will definitely stay here again next time.
