I am a female photographer who came to Shangri-La for tourism. When I was shooting street scenes in Dukezong Ancient Town, two photographers were shooting me, and then I met Larong (homestay owner, photographer and hiking leader). The next day, I did makeup with my friend and wanted to take pictures of the big prayer flags. I was worried that my friend would not take good pictures and I couldn’t waste this beautiful makeup, so I contacted Larong. Brother Larong drove us to the big prayer flags and took beautiful pictures for us. Later, we went to the bottomless lake with his car. He took good care of us along the way. After we checked out of the ancient town that day, we hadn’t found a new hotel. Larong said that he also opened a homestay and we could stay there. The homestay is in Xiaozhongdian, which is more than ten or twenty minutes away from the ancient town by car, which is also convenient. After dinner in the evening, I stayed at Larong’s home. The room is decorated in the style of log tatami. The room is also quite large, and there is a tatami bay window. I was afraid of disturbing my friend’s sleep in the morning, so I edited the picture on the bay window. In the morning, his wife made us ******* breakfast, hand-made butter tea, yogurt pancakes, etc. It was the first time to experience the life of Tibetans up close. They were all very warm and simple. After breakfast, Larong also took us to the Pioneer Bookstore in Shangri-La (a place that we had planned before but later gave up because we didn't have a car). This trip to Shangri-La was really perfect. We went to every place we wanted to go. Thank you Larong, I'm grateful to have met you 🙏🏻 I will go to Shangri-La again if I have the chance😀

This Tibetan-style homestay is awesome! The floor heating is super powerful, and it is warm in winter; The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry. The electric toilet is particularly convenient to use. It is not like the configuration of a rural homestay at all. The most rare thing is that the boss is super nice, warm and kind, and the whole process is particularly thoughtful. It is as comfortable as at home. It is highly recommended!

The YangKeShu Guesthouse was recently opened in 2023, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Shangri-La. Traveling to the hotel is easy with XiaozhongdianRailway Station located approximately 8km away and Shangri La Airport roughly 39km away. This hotel is located near many of Shangri-La's attractions including Baimalacuo Lake, Xiao Zhongdian Grassland and Akebangma Outdoor Sports Base. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests of this Shangri-La hotel can make use of the parking facilities. Facilities: The room is very warm, there is floor heating, the bed is comfortable, the hot water is sufficient, the water is large, and there is no problem with the bath. Hygienic: The room is clean and tidy, the space is arranged reasonably, and there is no smell. Environment: The homestay has a large space, especially Tibetan characteristics. Service: The boss family is very enthusiastic, asking us every day, and asking us like family, especially the boss and the housekeeper, if we have time, we will accompany us to chat and drink tea around the stove, and dance Tibetan dance together. The room is large, the bedding is new, clean and tidy. Not far from National Highway 214, parking is convenient. His family opened Sun Yang Dapei Farmhouse on National Highway 214. The signature dish was quite good. We ate two meals. The boss is very good and can also be a guide to travel.

When I came to Xiaozhongdian, I temporarily booked a B&B nearby, but I got a big surprise. First of all, I was shocked by the gorgeous and majestic wood carving interior, let alone the child. I was dumbfounded😆Then the ******* aunt who came over was very enthusiastic to help the child. He gave us a big plate of fruits and snacks and invited us to have dinner with him... The milk I drank for breakfast was my own milk that was squeezed freshly in the morning. The eggs I ate were from the backyard chickens. The pancakes fried by my aunt in the morning were also very fragrant... A very simple, warm and thoughtful B&B. I will definitely come back next time😊

Driven all the way from Lijiang Ancient City, the homestay did not live up to expectations. Because I didn’t pay attention, I booked a room without a bathroom. The boss was very considerate to upgrade me for free. There was a separate bathroom. It was already 9:30 in the evening. Uncle gave us a pure white Hada ～ the boss’s son. I also asked if we had eaten or not, and didn’t eat for us to cook. I was super loving. The special breakfast made by the breakfast boss was also very good. I packed it up at ten o’clock. I thought there was no breakfast. The boss made us haha, butter tea, barley cakes are especially delicious 😋 The location of the homestay is also very good. The parking lot is at the door, it is very convenient to park, the second floor is a large living room, you can sing and dance, the surrounding is the sea of flowers, more than 10 minutes from Dajingyu, Napahai for half an hour. The boss is very handsome ～ A happy family of five ～
