No need to worry about carrying heavy luggage across cobblestone pavement since owner fetch you from train station free of charge Room= Wonderful. I have to say the most feature packed room I have ever been with little money. Expensive looking bathtub overlooking the mountain, effective heater and heated floor, bedside oxygen, Dyson like blower even a room projector. Staff = Wonderful. Going out of the way to make you feel welcome. Fetch you from train station at night, helping with the tour, settling your luggage etc etc. Tried their hardest to please you although with language barrier.

It was a pleasure stay. The owner gave free ride for pick up and drop off to Shangri-La railway. The owner is so kind I wish I could speak their language. The hotel is so pretty and comfortable. You can see the big temple view from outside and inside the hotel. The room is so large and bed is so comfy. I am not so sure it was so cold but with the blanket I feel the warmth. It has oxygen concentrator for you if you have acute motion sickness. Lastly the owner found me an electric car (scooter) so that I can go to Heidou Cafe, Yila Grassland and Napa Lake. He even helped me to give exact location to those attractions. The hotel is so walkable to the big Buddha Temple. I recommend for those who come with family it is good place to stay.

It was a peaceful and scenic spot—an ideal base for exploring the area. What stood out most was the attentiveness of the staff. They were always just a message away, responding promptly to every request. As a first-time visitor to Shangri-La, I appreciated the wealth of local recommendations they provided—from attractions to hidden spots worth visiting. One night, after a long day out, I asked for a simple meal in the room, and they delivered hot fried rice from the kitchen right on time. On my final morning, I had an early departure, and despite the hour, the staff woke up and personally drove me to the train station at 6:30 a.m. Their warmth and dedication left a lasting impression. The hotel also offers traditional ******* clothing that guests can try on for photos—complete with the option to pose with a goat! Although it was too cold during my stay to enjoy the outdoor swing or take many photos outside, the setting was undeniably beautiful. As we drove away on my last day, the view of flat grasslands with horses and cows grazing under the open sky was the perfect farewell. It was a calm, heartwarming experience—one I’ll remember fondly.
