The hotel is located right in Napa Lake, with a large grassland surrounding it. Even though it was the off-season, the receptionist upgraded our room. The view from the window was of the grassland; relaxing on a deck chair, drinking tea, and gazing at the sky was incredibly comfortable. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the blankets were very warm; I had a great night's sleep. The hotel also offered free ******* clothing photoshoots and free lamb cuddles. I highly recommend the afternoon tea on the rooftop – the view is absolutely stunning.

The room was very spacious and well-equipped. It featured a diffuse oxygen supply system, ensuring a constant flow of fresh oxygen, which was a thoughtful touch given the altitude. The TOTO toilet with its bidet function was also a great convenience. There were plenty of parking spaces right outside, making parking very easy. The place was spotlessly clean. The courtyard and common areas in the lobby were also very neat and tidy. The environment was truly exceptional. There were no other guesthouses around, just local villagers, which created a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. It's located right by the stunning Napa Lake. With minimal light pollution, stargazing at night was absolutely incredible. The guesthouse is also conveniently close to National Highway G214, making it easily accessible. The service was excellent. They offered pick-up and drop-off services, and the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. Breakfast was also a highlight – a fantastic variety of delicious options.

This hotel is definitely going into my 'best of 25 years' list – it's absolutely stunning! With a vast expanse of grassland, the room's 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows perfectly frame the snow-capped mountains, sprawling grasslands, and grazing herds of cattle and sheep, creating a breathtaking panorama right from your room. The room is equipped with underfloor heating and an oxygen concentrator, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail is impeccable, making for a truly restorative stay. The Black Bean Coffee House, located within the estate, offers a unique Black Bean afternoon tea that's perfect for stunning photos.

The best homestay I've ever stayed in. The owner and his family are so sincere. In addition to the high-speed rail round-trip pick-up, the owner also personally sent us to the ancient city when we couldn't get a taxi. Because we were too embarrassed, the owner only charged us 10r symbolically, but we were embarrassed and transferred him 15r later (it was still cheap, it was peak time and we saw that Didi was 25r to the ancient city. The owner didn't eat yet and drove us to the ancient city and he went back home. It was really hard work. The room is well-equipped, clean and beautiful! There is also a PS in the lobby upstairs You can play, and the breakfast in the morning is also very rich! Fresh milk is also delivered in the evening🥛. When booking, I saw that the homestay provides free lamb-holding service, which is indeed available there. There is also a sea of flowers for taking pictures, all of which belong to the owner. Not only that, they also provide ******* clothing experience🥹 for free! The second person is only 30r, which is really cheap. We also took photos of ******* clothing in their sea of flowers and homestay rooms. The Napahai grassland can be reached by walking near the homestay, and there are large prayer flags to check in. If you ride a horse, the homestay owner will help us get a discount. This trip to Shangri-La is really worth it! Last night, the owner of the homestay in the ancient city recommended us authentic ******* food. The entire experience was wonderful. You could easily spend a whole day at the guesthouse just taking photos and enjoying the property, and even feeding small animals. Unfortunately, we missed out on the bonfire party due to the rain, but we still had a lovely evening roasting popcorn and chatting. A thoughtful touch was that the rooms are equipped with oxygen concentrators. The service was excellent. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic when answering any questions we had. Plus, they offered unlimited refills of Americano coffee and black tea! The room itself was very clean, and the in-room facilities were quite good. While it's true that the property is much more photogenic on a sunny day (rainy days don't quite capture the same beauty), I would absolutely love to stay here again if I get the chance.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel with stunning views of the mountains — especially beautiful during the summer. The landscape alone is worth the visit, but what really made the experience unforgettable was the warm hospitality. The owner, his lovely daughter, and their friendly dogs made us feel completely at home. They were welcoming, helpful, and genuinely kind — like staying with extended family. Do note that, like most hotels in Shangri-La, there is no air-conditioning during the summer. However, the hotel provides fans, and the temperature at night is cool and comfortable, so we slept well. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature, with a personal, home-like touch. Would definitely come back again!
