This was our favorite stay of the trip hands down ! First of all, the staff were kind and service was attentive. The highlight was definitely the resident animals. They were friendly and super adorable. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the grassland where you can see hundreds of yaks and snow mountain from afar. The food was simple but delicious with fresh ingredients. At night (if weather allows), the staff will start a bonfire with roasted marshmallow and popcorn. We even played with fireworks and took turns singing karaoke ! This stay was a perfect balance between having fun while resting and recharging. Highly highly recommend !

In the white space, it is your rest area in a foreign land, which can help you unload all the fatigue in the city.

We love the big clean spacious room with nice view. The room is so big that we can fully open 2 big luggages and still have plenty of space. Located in the heart of the old city, with many shops and restaurants around. The bed is very comfortable, and they provided oxygen machine and humidifier, which are great for high-altitude stay. There is a sofa in the room, too. The operator is very friendly and helpful. He even woke up early to send us to the main road as it will be challenging to lug our luggages along the uneven ancient road. Will stay at this hotel again if we come back to Shangri-La. Highly recommended this homestay. The room is tastefully designed , spacious and comfortable. It even has a smart toilet. Felt like home away from home. The owner, wife and their son are all very helpful, helping us arrange our trip, transportation etc. They will make sure that you got a good deal and give good advice on planning our trip. It is also at a very convenient location to visit other attraction areas, shops and restaurants. We extended another day after a five night stay because we love the place too much and we wanted to have a relaxing day just to fully enjoy the place. The owner upgraded us to an even bigger room with a view to the temple at Guishan park. The owner also picked us up from the Dukezong Ancient town when we arrived and got up early to send us to the train station when we checked out.
