Hotels in Tiger Leaping Gorge, Shangri-La

This is a place where you can see Okryongseolsan Mountain at a glance. As many reviews say, it is difficult to find. (I couldn't find it in the end...) Go up the slope in the third photo and walk up the stairs on the pavilion. The view from the room was not as good as I thought, so I had to go up to the rooftop. This place had a really nice rooftop. If there are no clouds in the late morning, you can see the Milky Way. The owner is very kind. I sent a WeChat message because I couldn't open the key while looking at the stars at night, and he answered me in 1 second... ㅠㅠ It's hard to come up from Jungdo Guesthouse, but it's a place worth it.

The view from the room is fantastic!!!! Room is also very spacious and clean. Toilets were very slightly dirty (minor stains). Towels, toothbrush, hair dryer and hand soap provided, but unexpectedly no shampoo, conditioner, body soap or lotion provided. Future travellers should bear in mind to bring their own. The staff are very kind, attentive and responsive. Kudos to them! The lodge also has a rooftop with some chairs. As the lodge is quite small, there's hardly anyone at the rooftop and it ends up being quite private! View of the mountains are better here than at halfway GH in my opinion. Overall really enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I do TLG again

I stayed at the Traveler B&B for three consecutive nights. I heard a friend recommend it before, and it really lived up to my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, and the outdoor terrace was spacious. As soon as I opened the door, it was like a scroll of ink painting appeared in front of me. I quickly took wonderful photos to record the beauty of this trip! The house is surrounded by various varieties of colorful succulents, which is comfortable and likes it! The meals here are delicious and generous in portion, and delicious... I want to come again after coming here. The Guangdong boss is enthusiastic and talkative👍👍👍

It was the end of May when the rainy season was just starting. When I walked for two days and arrived at Tina's G.H., I was surprised by the neat atmosphere, and the five-person room I was assigned to was like any other hotel. Spending a night looking out the window at snow mountains!

Very good place to stay especially hiking the tiger leaping gorge (2d1n). There are signs to direct you to it during the trek and it is really just few metres away from the famous halfway guesthouse. The cleanliness, space, view and amenities are perfect. A restaurant is just below so you can get food easily. Otherwise, around it are other accommodations with food too, so it's really convenient. Recommend to stay here if you want a spectacular view from bed, balcony or bathtub. Love it!

The scenery is unbeatable, the canyon river is unobstructed, and the roar of the Jinsha River can be seen when you open the window. It is only a few hundred meters away from Mr. Zhang's Inn, and it is very convenient to take a car or charter a car. I had planned to move the inn to the vicinity of Halfway, but fortunately I didn't change it in the end, and I was able to experience such a beautiful scenery. The room is spacious and has facilities such as smart toilets. It would be even more perfect if a humidifier was provided.

The Inn is very near the gate, easily found and near the square market, the location was very strategic, the owner was also very helpful and he suggested me to the Halal food nearest the town, and also can book a day trip to Balagezong with them. The room is very clean and big, has an electric blanket and portable heater, but not a heated floor. you can see the town from the inn and also can stargazing at the second floor.

This place was a little hard to find, but we found it in the end. Because the signs to the guest house were in Chinese characters, we got lost. But friendly people in the neighborhood guided us to the right spot. It’s definitely in the perfect location! Very close to the entrance for the next hiking part of your journey. The young lady at the counter was very friendly. She didn’t speak English, but managed to check us in quickly. She took our food order and helped us organise a driver to take our luggage, pick us up from the end of the hiking trail and then to Shangri-la. This place has the beautiful view of the mountains, where you can see it from the roof top and from our guest room. The room is spacious with a unique layout of the bathroom. The shower was amazing with good pressure and there was hot water. The food is standard Chinese food which was really good. For breakfast they had rice noodles and it was free and it was yummy!! All the workers are so friendly, greeting you with a smile m, saying hello and offering you fruit and walnuts. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone traveling to the Tiger Leaping Gorge.

I had a comfortable stay at Hotel Tiger Roar - Yunbo Jinsha. The rooms were clean, and the overall ambiance and view was great. The location was convenient for exploring the area. However, there was a misunderstanding regarding the pickup service. The owner had mentioned that they would provide a free pick-up and drop-off back to the bus stop, but there was some confusion about this during our stay. Sadly, we need to pay 80 RMB due to their miscommunication. It would be helpful if the hotel could clarify such services in advance to avoid any miscommunication. Overall, it was a good experience, and I appreciate the hospitality. A little more clarity on transportation services would make the stay even better.

The boss is handsome and very easy-going, down-to-earth, with a simple personality. The location of the hotel is superb, right at the exit of the hiking trail, which gave me great hope when I was exhausted. The hotel facilities are very new, and it is equipped with disposable towels and bath supplies. The chef and cleaning lady are very friendly. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is right outside the door. I stayed there for two days and even saw the sea of ​​clouds. Many hiking enthusiasts only stay for one night and continue hiking the next morning, but I think it's worth staying a few more nights given the location of this hotel. Good quality and low price, exceeded expectations. I will continue to live here if I have the chance.
