Five-star recommendation! This Tibetan-style homestay, which I recommended online, feels like I have traveled into another world from the moment I step into the gate! The boss is a native *******. The room design retains the traditional ******* elements - hand-carved wooden beams and columns, wooden floors, colorful paintings, and cleverly incorporates modern facilities such as floor heating and smart toilets. It is very comfortable to sleep at an altitude of 3,000 meters! The family room is spacious and divided into two separate rooms, each with its own door, providing great privacy. The breakfast at the B&B is also very delicious, with yak milk and barley cakes, which are very authentic. The owner warmly entertained us with her snacks, which made us feel at home. The location of the homestay is also excellent. It takes 10 minutes by taxi to Songzanlin Temple and 15 minutes by taxi to Dukezong Ancient Town. I received a gift from my boss when I left. Now looking at the beautiful photos on my phone, I have already started planning to stay longer next time! It is highly recommended to friends who want to deeply experience ******* culture. This is not a hotel, but your home on the plateau.

The hotel is located in the a quiet town area not too far from Dukezong Ancient Town. The train station is about 15-20 minutes away. The location is great. We love the western and ******* decor of the property. Small but cosy with a little hint of western style that harmonised perfectly with the exotic ******* architecture. The hotel has a humidifier in the room (very important if you don’t want to wake up with nose bleed or cracked lips) and an oxygen generator (altitude sickness). These are really important things you need to consider when choosing your hotels in Shangrila. We booked a family room with one queen bed and a single bed. The mattress of the queen bed was comfortable and soft but the single bed was hard. You may want to check with the hotel again on the mattress before booking the family room. The hotel provides airport and train pick-ups and drop-offs. Nice breakfast for short term stay. Try the butter tea and yogurt.

Easy to walk to the different scenic areas and plenty of taxis. Breakfast was a good choice. The room was large but no window in the bedroom and some of the mentioned amenities were missing such as a stove, minibar and safe and there was also no drop off available for the bus station.

The room is large, the equipment is new, the price/performance ratio is very high, and there are small gifts. The front desk lady and the floor service lady are careful and conscientious. If they find any valuable items left behind, they will contact the owner immediately and send them back by courier. Great service, thumbs up!

This is my second stay. The hotel is about five or six kilometers away from the ancient city and very close to the Songzanlin Temple scenic area. It is quite large and mainly for groups. There is a parking lot. The room is not heated until after 6 or 7 pm, which is a bit unhumane. The breakfast is rich in variety and I am generally satisfied.

This time I am traveling with my friends and family. The room is comfortable and warm, the service is warm, and the sanitary conditions are good. I am very satisfied! Shangri-La makes people miss it. I wanted to stay a few more nights, but time didn't allow it. I will stay there again next time I come!

it was a pleasant stay. the room is warm and cozy while it was below zero degrees outside. it has a great view of the city. you can see the snow capped mountains and the famous ******* temple cluster. the hotel is located near to the ancient city and the Shangri-La high speed railway station. the staff are helpful and polite. we asked for additional hangers to dry our clothing after washing and they promptly provide them. our room had a smell in the toilet and it was promptly dealt with, the smell did not come back. the carpet could be vacuumed to improve cleanliness.

The room was clean and comfortable. Although there were not many types of breakfast in the morning, it was clean and delicious. I highly recommend it. It is very close to the bus station, and the hotel also provides a drop-off service, which is very considerate. I will stay there next time! !

I booked a room on the spur of the moment for our National Day trip, thinking it would be fine as long as it was adequate. Unexpectedly, it was surprisingly good ~ There is a bay window in the room. You can sit and eat while looking outside. The food smells delicious ~ The room is clean and has no odor. The lady and brother at the front desk are very nice and enthusiastic ~ I will book this hotel again when I come to Shangri-La in the future! ! ! When I checked out, the lady at the front desk gave me a small gift. How come the people in Shangri-La are so nice? The photo is of a small bay window where we had dinner. The weather was cold, so I had a sip of hot butter tea and watched the cars passing by outside. It was so comfortable! ! Hehehe, I hope everyone stays in a hotel they like when traveling.

This hotel is really nice for facilities, beauty and especially service. The hotel staff name Vivi, Ann, and the others always give me good advice for anything I ask and respond so quickly. Location is great, center of everything you need. Breakfast are delicious. They also allow early check-in and late check-out. I am so impressed. Recommended!!
