We stayed 2 nights here and had an extremely pleasant experience! This is a family business owned by a ******* family, and they were extremely welcoming ever since we step foot into their BNB. On our first night, the owners showed a lot of concern as we were experiencing altitude sickness. There was an oxygen tank in the room, as well a large one in the sitting room. The room that we stayed in was spacious. The beds are heated very well and we felt really warm in the room. The service of our host family was excellent. We had dinner at the BNB on both nights we stayed, and the food was especially delicious. The breakfast, although simple, was very tasty and allowed us to experience a typical ******* breakfast. The owners constantly checked in on us to ensure that the food was to our liking, and that we were having a pleasant stay. There is a hill behind their house where you can take a full view of the Songzanlin Monastery as well (a 10 to 15 minute walk)! Overall, our stay here was a very homely and warm experience. We will definitely come back to visit! Thank you so much to the host family; we really enjoyed our stay here :)

I made some travel guides when I came to Shangri-La, and I thought Xiangbai ******* Art Courtyard was the ******* homestay I wanted, especially after reading the reviews. After I made the reservation, I contacted the boss and told him whether he could pick me up at the high-speed rail station if I was going alone. He readily agreed. Even though the arrival time was delayed by more than an hour on the day, he still waited for me patiently. Moreover, he drove a new car, Tu Si. After arriving, I felt the sincerity of his family. In the evening, I ordered the specialty yak hotpot from his house. The quantity was large and the taste was delicious. I felt very happy eating it. Zhuoma made breakfast every day and changed the variety. It was only 62 yuan to buy tickets for Songzanlin Temple from his house, and you can enter the scenic area many times. The full set of clothing and makeup plus the photographer taking photos are also done in Xiangbai Courtyard, so you don’t have to worry about it. If you want to play around, you can also rent his car if the boss is free and accompany him to explain. It is better to listen to the scenery than to see it. I gained a lot. I really regard it as an inn friend here. I ask him about the itinerary later. He is very responsible to help. I originally planned to stay for two nights without hesitation to add one night It was comfortable and safe to live here. There is a reason why the business is so good. I was a little reluctant to leave. The boss’s mom has a high EQ and took the initiative to give me a hug. It was really a pleasure to encounter a warm and service-oriented accommodation in an unfamiliar place!

This B&B experience exceeded my expectations, with service even better than a six-star hotel. First, it's right next to Songzanlin Temple, and you can enter the temple from the side door. There are fewer tourists and no need to climb a hill. It's quiet and elegant, and the geraniums in the courtyard are so beautiful. Secondly, the housekeeper Qu Zhen was very considerate and even helped with the laundry, which smelled wonderful. She was also great for answering questions and recommending restaurants. She's a beautiful and kind person! Thirdly, I highly recommend the yak beef hotpot in the restaurant. It's so delicious! The soup and butter tea are both top-notch, and you can't compare to the ones sold in the ancient city outside. You must try the charcoal-fired earthen pot yak hotpot in the restaurant! Fourthly, the room was very clean and spacious, with a great view from the window.

This was a highly anticipated stay! We specifically checked out from the Shangri-La Hotel to experience this brand's unique cultural immersion concept. The seamless coordination by our wonderful butler, Zhuoma, starting the day before check-in, and the private transfer service were impeccable. Upon arrival, the cosmos flowers along the path and the charming wild chrysanthemums in our room were delightful touches. The breakfast and afternoon tea offerings truly embody the brand's distinctive ethos. The quality of the slippers and bathrobes was superb, but what truly impressed me was the incredibly nourishing essential oil soap. The thoughtful drinks provided during the turn-down service were also a pleasant surprise. After our hike, we decided to try the local butter SPA. The unique ******* herbal foot bath beforehand made it an even more special experience. While the price was admittedly not cheap, it was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. Even the public restrooms were remarkably well-appointed. We're already looking forward to visiting more properties in the Songtsam series!

This guesthouse was a highlight of our trip to Shangri-La. It's steeped in authentic ******* charm and absolutely worth experiencing. The location is superb, offering picturesque views of Songzanlin Monastery, and the surroundings are wonderfully peaceful. A special mention goes to their breakfast, which features a fantastic variety of options. Five stars, highly recommended!

This was the most satisfying hotel I stayed at in Shangri-La this time. The decor was stylish, and the room had a subtle, calming herbal fragrance. While there was some road construction right outside, causing a minor inconvenience, the hotel's location and attention to detail were excellent. The bedding was also very comfortable. A truly great choice.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I could feel the hospitality of the front desk lady. Check-in was efficient, and she thoughtfully explained the surrounding amenities. There was also complimentary fruit tea and candy in the lobby! The room was clean and tidy, with a warm and cozy decor. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I had a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, with hot water running instantly and the water pressure was just right. The toiletries were all disposable and very clean and hygienic. The location was also very convenient, very close to the Songzanlin Temple scenic area, making travel very easy. Overall, the value for money was excellent. I would choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and highly recommend it to everyone!

This is my first time staying at Kyriad, and I am very satisfied with the hygiene and service details! The front desk staff is friendly and efficient, and a small request is immediately resolved. The room is cleaned very carefully, even the carpet feels very clean, the bathroom is as bright as new, and the towels are fluffy and white. This high standard of hygiene and service makes people feel at ease. I will still choose Shangri-La next time I come, it is trustworthy! ! ! !

It's a new hotel with new equipment and everything. It's very clean, with good supplies, and the front desk service is also very good. The breakfast is also delicious, especially the rice noodles and fried broccoli. I like it very much. It's not far from Dukezong, about 4 kilometers, and it only takes 10-12 minutes by taxi. I would rather take a taxi and stay in a new one than to stay in the old one in the ancient city. In fact, Shangri-La is not a big city. It's easy to get a taxi. It's very close to Songzanlin. The ticket hall is within 200 meters. And when you live in Shangri-La, especially in autumn and winter, you must have floor heating. It really makes you feel super happy! The floor heating is awesome! Recommended

Location was brilliant however it was abit dusty due to the renovation. It was convenient to not drive up to visit the temple as we can just walk there with tickets provided. - breakfast was good - front desk service can be improved but driver and those who worked at the restaurant was brilliant. - we wanted to order dinner at 8pm from the western restaurant but was told that it’s closed even though we were told that the last orders is at 9pm. - not really worth the money. But it is teh founder’s house and we had a lot of fun looking at the antiques in teh hotel.
