Very pleasant stay, very comfortable double room with heating and heated mattress. A stove warms the restaurant in the evening and it's a good place to meet people and plan what to do during your stay with the hosts who are very good at giving advice! Great location in the old town close to the dancing square!

Had a great experience over here!
The owner is super friendly, speaks great English and is very knowledgeable about hiking and activities around the area.
I ordered a 1-day hike from the hostel which was great, and left my bag here while hiking in Yubeng.
The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is incredible.
Cannot recommend this place enough, and I will definitely come again.

The managers are very friendly and offer good advice. There is a very good restaurant service, and the rooms are well-equipped to protect against the cold. The restrooms are clean and Western-style. The showers are clean and hot.

One of if not THE best hostels I stayed in whilst in china. The owner is amazing and so helpful with booking guided hikes/advice on where to go etc. Food is also great and beers are cheap, lovely old ******* tavern with everything made out of wood and well placed to get into the old town super easily.
