I came to Shangri-La for a few days during the Christmas holiday. As a hotel lover, I had been thinking about whether to book Songzan Hotel to experience it before I came. After all, it is the best brand in China. I originally booked another hotel for the last night, but I canceled it temporarily and booked Songzan Linka for one night to experience the best hotel in China. To put it simply, the overall experience did not meet expectations. After all, the price is there. Let me talk about the satisfaction and shortcomings in detail. Satisfaction: 1. The overall design of the hotel is grand and the atmosphere is very full. The room is very warm and cozy, which really makes us feel like we are back home. 2. Catering, the hotel dinner dishes are very good, and several stir-fries taste good and are also very delicate and satisfactory. 3. The front desk service responds quickly. We need extra drinking water, quilts, and even sanitary napkins, which can be provided quickly. Disadvantages: 1. The hotel is old, and the iron railings on the balcony of my room are loose, and the welds have cracked. When I leaned on it, I was startled again. I am light in weight and will not fall downstairs, but if there are heavy people or the impact is a little bigger, the consequences are unimaginable. See picture. The plug interface of the bedside lamp in the room was rotten and sealed with tape. It was not good and not absolutely safe. See picture. 2. The hotel's activity facilities were poorly arranged. There were posters and singing bowl meditations that we wanted to participate in, but we were told by the front desk that there were too many guests and it could not be arranged. We were also told that the sunset tent was removed because of the strong wind. There were basically no activities to participate in the day we stayed, which was a bit boring. 3. Separation of people and vehicles. Songzan Lingka is positioned as a high-end resort, but on the roads within the hotel, there are social vehicles of guests who can enter and exit at will or park at the door of the room, so why do we need to park the car in the parking lot and take the battery car? And there seemed to be some Land Rover group activities that night. There were many Land Rovers in the hotel, which was very noisy and affected the comfort of other guests. 4. Dining arrangements. We planned to have dinner at the hotel on the night of arrival. We asked the housekeeper in advance whether we could make an appointment for dinner. The reply was first come first served. We arrived at the restaurant around 7 o'clock and wanted to have dinner. We were told that because there were too many people, we needed to wait for about half an hour. I was very surprised at the time. We just had to wait in the store, and after about 20 minutes, the service staff informed us that we could have dinner. Later, I learned that because the hotel restaurant is open to the public, it is difficult to control the number of people, but as a guest, I can't be given priority, which is a bit unbelievable. The problem can be easily solved by simply setting up a reservation mechanism. I can only say that there is still a long way to go in terms of management details. I admit that I am a person who has high requirements for details. I don't know whether my experience this time is accidental or normal, or it may be that I have too high expectations for Songtsan. Overall, I am quite disappointed.
