Has to the be one of the coolest guesthouses I’ve stayed, it’s a good spot if you started walking from the road and need want to stop before halfway. It’s got a really nice rooftop deck to see the mountains, wifi, nice bar/restaurant vibe in general. Really good price, dorms are at $8 but make sure to book ahead. If you start from the road by the turn off the bus then it’s not a bad place to stop but if you started at Naxi it might be to early to stop

Had a really great stay here on the Tiger Leaping Gorge trail! The staff were the highlight—upgraded me to a private room, helped me transfer my luggage to Tina’s and book a bus ticket from Tina’s to Shangri-La. The room was clean and tidy with towels and toiletries provided. The view was stunning and their cafe/bar had a wide and well-priced selection of drinks including coffee, craft beer and cocktails. And of course the view is stunning. Highly recommend staying here!

Hier habe ich ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen, weil gerade nicht so viele Gäste da waren. Mit dem Bus erreicht man dieses Hostel nicht! Das sollte man bei der Planung berücksichtigen! Dafür ist die Aussicht grandios, vor allem von der Dachterrasse gegenüber.

Tea Horse Guesthouse was perfectly located, we enjoyed coffee and beer on the deck with majestic Haba mountains as our front row views. The cabin was a bit old and damp but a good night rest was what we needed after a day pf trekking. We would stay here again.

LOVE this place. Luxurious setting with the bar and lookout deck. Simple rooms, perfect for what we needed on our trek through tiger leaping gorge. Would have liked to have stayed on longer and enjoyed the ambiance from the bar for another day. Highly recommend. seemed more peaceful than halfway house. Thank you for our stay!
