The whole family booked three rooms for a self-driving trip. The room is clean and tidy, and you can see the mountain view opposite from the window. After two days of hiking in Tiger Leaping Gorge, I know many people will book the Midway Inn for the first day’s accommodation, but this one really doesn’t lose.
The room is large, clean and comfortable. The view is very good. You can see the sunset shining on Jinshan Mountain.
The Naxi barbecue for dinner was very delicious, and the rice noodles for breakfast were also good. The portion was enough for me to hike for another whole day.

Amazing view of the valley. A nicer yet quieter hotel than it's more famous neighbour, it's good to use both hotels for their great amenities.

We departed from Lijiang using didi. The 2-hour journey was not felt because the scenery was very beautiful. To reach the hotel, you will go through a winding and scary road 😂. The heater was not working properly so we were a bit cold when we slept. You can order food at the hotel. The food is delicious and Muslim-friendly.
