AAi WeiHighly recommended this homestay. The room is tastefully designed , spacious and comfortable. It even has a smart toilet. Felt like home away from home. The owner, wife and their son are all very helpful, helping us arrange our trip, transportation etc. They will make sure that you got a good deal and give good advice on planning our trip. It is also at a very convenient location to visit other attraction areas, shops and restaurants. We extended another day after a five night stay because we love the place too much and we wanted to have a relaxing day just to fully enjoy the place. The owner upgraded us to an even bigger room with a view to the temple at Guishan park. The owner also picked us up from the Dukezong Ancient town when we arrived and got up early to send us to the train station when we checked out. Best homestay we had this far. 非常推荐这个客棧.老板和家人都非常親切,给予我们的旅程很好的建议和幫助. 房间很舒适宽敞, 还有智能厕所. 老板除了在我们低达时在古鎮附近接我们,还在我们退房后特意早起送我们去火车站. 客棧也很方便, 附近有便利店,商店和不錯的餐厅,也很方便去附近的景点.房间和房的廊庁也可以看见大佛寺.

MMajabyMy stay in Shangri-La was truly memorable, thanks to the incredible hospitality of the hotel. Upon arriving at the train station, I couldn’t get a taxi, so I sent a quick message to the hotel via WeChat. To my surprise and relief, the staff immediately offered to come pick me up. It was a short ride, but during the drive, they shared interesting insights about the area, setting the tone for what would be a warm and personal stay.
The hotel itself felt cozy and welcoming, with two dogs and a cat adding to the homely charm. They had my room ready early, so I could check in and rest right away. The room was spacious, fully equipped, and thoughtfully prepared for the cold weather—it had a large dehumidifier and central floor heating, which made it incredibly comfortable during the chilly days.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Shika Snow Mountain, and from the property, I could catch glimpses of the snowy peaks, open grasslands, farms, and plantations. It was a peaceful and scenic spot—an ideal base for exploring the area.
What stood out most was the attentiveness of the staff. They were always just a message away, responding promptly to every request. As a first-time visitor to Shangri-La, I appreciated the wealth of local recommendations they provided—from attractions to hidden spots worth visiting.
One night, after a long day out, I asked for a simple meal in the room, and they delivered hot fried rice from the kitchen right on time. On my final morning, I had an early departure, and despite the hour, the staff woke up and personally drove me to the train station at 6:30 a.m. Their warmth and dedication left a lasting impression.
The hotel also offers traditional ******* clothing that guests can try on for photos—complete with the option to pose with a goat! Although it was too cold during my stay to enjoy the outdoor swing or take many photos outside, the setting was undeniably beautiful.
As we drove away on my last day, the view of flat grasslands with horses and cows grazing under the open sky was the perfect farewell. It was a calm, heartwarming experience—one I’ll remember fondly.

The hotel concept is like farm stay, we have many activities to do such as feeding animals here (sheeps, deers, donkey, horse and dogs)

GGuest UserIt's super nice. When we arrived at the manor, there were young ladies and dogs at the door to greet us. It was very ceremonial.
The yak hotpot we had for dinner was really a romantic meal. Of course, the breakfast was also delicious (barley cakes and noodles were good).
The room was large. Each room was separated by a distance and was very private. All the equipment in the room was very high-end: the shower gel smelled good, there was a foot bath, a facial mask, a Dyson hair dryer, and the quality of the sound system was also very good (playing songs at night with the forest feeling was amazing). The toilet and mattress were all heated, and the oxygen supply machine was also very convenient. It can be seen that the owner of the house was very attentive to every detail, and any utensils and food were exquisite.
There were also free ******* costumes and clothes that you could wear and take pictures yourself if you liked.
When we arrived at the ancient city, the owner came to pick us up and send us to the famous hostel. Thank you

GGuest UserFeifan Hotel is conveniently located in Shangri La Old Town (Dukezong) and is fully accessible by car/taxi, which can drop you off right in front of the hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated, paying homage to the town's Tibetan's roots, which is what makes the hotel very charming to me. The room itself is very clean comfortable to stay in, the amenities and kits provided are more than plentiful. The floors in front of the bathroom are also heated, which is very surprising (I wasn't expecting that). The loveliest aspect of my stay would have to be the kind hotel staff who were very helpful and welcoming to us starting from our arrival (the cups of warm tea was very relieving during the cold night). A couple of hotel staff members can converse in English, which was very helpful for us as we are foreign tourists. I appreciated the conversations I had with a staff member during breakfast about the various foods that was on offer. I also appreciated the little gift that was given to us when we checked out as the hotel staff seemed to notice that I did enjoyed several cups of butter tea during my breakfast and the help with arranging a car to transport us to the train station. Overall, I am very impressed with our stay here and would not hesitate at all to recommend anyone to stay here. It is worth it!

From the moments we reached Shangri-la by train, driver was waiting for us…fetch us to the hotel with the Defendar. The car was very very clean.
All the facilities in the hotel was excellent!
The architecture of the hotel is tibetian style.
Many of the handcraft look nice.
The view from the hotel can see the songtsam temple.
High tea was provided, the egg tart taste delicious even it is winter.
The breakfast had varities of food.
The hotel included ticket to songtsam temple, even provided a free guide to explain while visiting the monastery.
The shampoo and body lotion in the room was nice to used, especially in winter season. The skin feel very dry. (Hope that hotel would sell it online)
The hotel area was very big, there are a lots of nice view to take photo.
Even the hotel is big, they provide buggy car so you not need to walk a lot.
All the staff was well trained, they served us like family. Very heart warming🥰

We had an amazing experience at this hotel.. Everything was beyond my expectations! The host was incredibly nice, warm, and super helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The price was surprisingly affordable for what was offered, included breakfast.
They provide free pickup from railway station.
The room was beautiful and cozy, with a private jacuzzi right inside, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the stunning view of Shangri-La.
There’s also a spacious common area with a billiard table and a small pool, all with the same amazing view. It was such a great spot to chill out.
Plus, they have Luna, the friendliest dog ever.
Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shangri-La. Would 100% stay here again!👍🏻
