This is the newest hotel in the hotel, so the facilities are definitely impeccable. My only complaint about cleanliness is the mini-fridge in the room, which must have been filled with durian by a guest. The smell permeated the entire room when I opened it. The hotel should use some activated charcoal or something to remove the odor. My biggest complaint this time was that the front desk treated me like a Japanese person. When I checked in, they told me to scan a QR code for a discount. Thinking they were promoting a promotion, I scanned the code. Then they asked me to give them my phone so they could handle it. They even downloaded a separate app for me!!! They then asked if I wanted breakfast. I assumed it was a bonus breakfast to help them complete their promotion, so I said yes. They then handed my phone back and told me to pay. I figured I'd pay, so I could try the new breakfast. But after paying, I realized I was paying for a Huazhu Club Silver Card membership fee of 49 yuan! I can pay for breakfast, but please don't treat guests like ***********. If you're trying to sell me a membership, do it properly. Don't use such deceptive tactics to trick guests into signing up.
