Not the comfiest but has everything you need for an overnight stay before an early flight. There is a free bus that leaves regularly to the airport. Check in was smooth and easy and the receptionist spoke English.

You can't use the free shuttle from the airport without a Chinese phone number.
The other way around is OK.
There's no elevator, but the man at the reception spoke Chinese so he took it for me ^_^
The walls are super thin, the shower is broken, the water pressure is weak and only lukewarm water comes out, so I thought I was going to die when I took a bath 💦
I like the way the front desk is so friendly and I can feel the freedom of Chinese people ♪
I don't recommend it. If you're just connecting and it's about the same price, I recommend the Shanghai Pudong International Airport Diaviation Hotel.

離机場比較远，免费巴士不停門口，而且要停多个站，行车时间变长了。班次也不足夠。

The hotel is small but quiet and clean. As suggested by the name, the rooms are compact but adequate for an over night stay between flights.
The hotel offers airport pickup and drop off with a shared shuttle bus stopping at at least a dozen small hotels; don’t expect a quick trip from airport to hotel or vice versa.
