Lovely hotel. Very calming with great staff and services. Would highly recommend - will come again when in Shanghai.

Location is good and good room size. But the sound proof is very bad as it is an old building convert.

The hotel located in a central area 7-10 minutes walk from the famous Jinang Temple. Close to all restaurants, cafes and supermarkets near by. The hotel services and care was absolutely kind and caring for all my needs! The staff are very welcoming and helpful with everything you will need! Would definitely be back to this special hotel

A great hotel in what is probably the best city in the world at the moment. Perfect location, Alimentari next door(!) for your Italian food fix… staff - especially the breakfast staff and Maria on reception and the cleaners - are excellent. Very good 2 night stay here.

Absolutely perfect hotel in a fantastic location with plenty of cafes and boutique shopping around. Maria at front desk did everything to accommodate me and help me feel welcome. They also offer wellbeing experiences as part of the package which I really loved to. Will always stay here when I return to Shanghai!

Given the hotel is relatively new, the maintenance of hotel rooms and facilities is rather poor. There was also smell of cigarettes in our room. The service of concierge staff was however very good. They helped us to arrange parking near the hotel, and helped to arrange a change of room due to the smell of cigarettes in the original room.

Absolutely loved this hotel. It’s a wonderful discovery and will definitely return again for another staycation. The rooms are gorgeous and the lobby is so calming and staff is friendly. My only comment would be the smoking area outside. It would be better if smokers were encouraged to smoke away from the front door so you don’t have to go through a cloud of smoke when entering. Otherwise, fabulous. We’ll be back

Beautiful small Japanese-style hotel with helpful service and delicious breakfast buffet and Japanese set. The room was super nice. It felt like being in Japan when we were in the hotel and room. Amenities are good and they had extra amenities at the entrance to the elevator. The staff was very helpful and kind! It is about 15 mins walk to jing’an temple. We would definitely return here!

The room was great. However the hotel dinner menu needs rethinking as there wasn’t anything worth purchasing.

Really nice botique hotel in great location. The room is small but really well designed, with lots of attention to details. Would recommend and stay again The only downside- they should not ask for this 500rmb deposit. Its a thing of the past for small hotels, especially when all was paid days in advance. And there is nothing in the room to steal wworth 500rmb. It just comes off as really unfriendly and strange given the overall nice experience.

Boutique, old-Chinese styled hotel, complete with a full zen-vibe water-featured garden inside the main lobby! Such a relaxing, calming atmosphere here. Tucked away in the always lovely Jing’An district, this little place will give you the sense of escaping to an old mountain hide-away. The rooms are laid out with a very artistic combination of timber panelling, stone featuring and soft lighting, to provide a beautifully restful oasis in the heart of a lively social hub. Designer toiletries are a sweet extra for comfort. The restaurant and leisure spaces are great, and the surrounding area also includes a fantastic collection of other late-night international bars, cafes and eateries if you want more variety. Espresso and lemon water are always available at the front desk. Staff are respectful and maintain a strong presence in the entrance spaces until late into the night. A super choice whether you’re travelling alone or with some friends, for an affordable, unique stay in one of the best foodie corners of Shanghai!
