Very bad experience, the window in the room is too bright, it can't be closed, it keeps ringing all night, and it's very nice to say that it has been upgraded for me, and it's been renovated next door without checking out. It's just speechless~! The experience was very bad, the hot water in the room was not good, sometimes hot and sometimes cold! But the location is good, there are many Western food and coffee nearby, and it is convenient to go to the scenic area

Will stay again! I booked this last minute because I wasn’t satisfied with the hotel I had originally booked, so I decided to switch hotels the same day. The room was exactly as shown in the photos and advertisements. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. I really loved the bed, pillows, and even the slippers! On top of that, they provided a Dyson hair dryer, a Nespresso coffee machine, and even gave me a gift when I checked out! The room was spacious, perfect for solo travelers. The location was also great. Additionally, they have a locker for food deliveries, so you don’t have to worry about your food going missing if you don’t have a Chinese phone number. I will definitely stay again when I return to Shanghai for work!

A great hotel tucked in the beautiful streets of Jingan District. We enjoyed our stay at Ginko and loved how it’s in the heart of everything especially when you want to visit attractions scattered all over Shanghai. You are just a didi away. The bathroom was large and well equipped and my kids loved having a bath in the tub every night. The bed was spacious enough to sleep a family of four with two young children. The breakfast at the hotel is very basic and our only call out with this property. If you want good food for the family there are quite a few restaurants close to the hotel. Ragu was a nice little Italian place for the family. There is also Orchard CRC if you want to get a quick Singaporean meal just around the corner from the hotel. There is also a lot Cafes around the property if you want your caffeine fix. Just walk around and explore.

I made a last minute booking with the Ginco and was pleasantly impressed with the hotel. Maria was very attentive during check in. Explained that I had been upgraded including a free breakfast and evening meal. My room was beautiful, large and with a bathtub - lovely surprise. The bed was comfy and I got a good night sleep. Brilliant location and I will definitely stay there again.

Location is good and good room size. But the sound proof is very bad as it is an old building convert.

Lovely hotel that located at Jing An area, few steps to all the great shopping district. Hotel room is spacious and equipped with all the essentials. The hotel staff is extremely helpful. I lost my phone in the taxi on the first day but they were helping me throughout the process of finding it.

Hotel was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It is also well situated in Jing’an close to lots of lovely restaurants, malls and Jing’an temple.

Boutique feel hotel. Good location and new. 4 stars for cleanliness: the bedsheet and blanket has very strong urine smell. The room and hotel are very clean.

The hotel is super well located, very cozy and has a beautiful decor and atmosphere, and smells delicious. I will definitely come back next time.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Has a couple of MRT stations nearby that we could use to access the other parts of Shanghai. Hotel is very clean and modern. Very tastefully done up. No clutter. Reception staff were polite, friendly and professional. Asked us to take a seat in the lobby whilst processing our check in. When we checked out, they helped us to book a taxi to bring us to our lunch venue. The lady cleaning our rooms was very polite and cheerful. (we had booked 3 rooms) Will definitely recommend this hotel to our relatives and friends. Thanks for the lovely stay.

The hotel located in a central area 7-10 minutes walk from the famous Jinang Temple. Close to all restaurants, cafes and supermarkets near by. The hotel services and care was absolutely kind and caring for all my needs! The staff are very welcoming and helpful with everything you will need! Would definitely be back to this special hotel

i love the room so much and they’re upgrading me to biggest room and the bathtub probably my fav and the bed very comfy!
